Rocket League

YMMV - since it's quite heavily abstracted - but you might count Xeno:

The lack of Mutant League saddens me

It has both a handegg variation

and a hockey one

Just filling in some categories...

First-person Japanese action games that are sort-of-but-not-quite FPSes where you mostly punch and/or stab people
Crossed Sword
cs14.png

Mansion games:
Games that take place primarily exploring one house.

Please name some others, I tend to love them.
Clock Tower is fantastic
Clock%20Tower%20(J).png

I haven't seen more games like Neighbors from Hell except some russian shovelware...it's a series of point and click games about basically pranking your neighbor in a reality TV show and you need to get enough pranks going on to keep the rating up.
The only one that comes to mind is the flash game called Haunt the house:

I don't think what I would call Flying Rail Shooters have many examples. And most of that do exist come from the same company. Anyone feel free to correct me with more examples as I love the genre. Basically rail shooters where your controlling a flying object on a somewhat set path(maybe with optional routes) but unlike standard rail shooters(e.g Virtua Cop, Time Crisis) this flight means your more free to dodge oncoming fire.
Sin and Punishment 2 has stages like that

You reference an unknown game, then post a screenshot with no title? Shame on you! Booooo!

Woops! Sorry, Did not mean to be that kind of person.

The game is called Utauta Woo - Seirei-Songs

In this scene you ride with them a truck, then after 15 sceonds get thrown out for not playing along with them.

The problem is that there is no one to follow, the game wants me to play with the beat I think.

There are only two videos about the game uploaded to Youtube, both in 2015. I have been stuck since the game was released...

Single Player Games with Asymmetric Gameplay :

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

Soft Body

ibb & obb

Although primarily a two-player game I'm pretty sure Schizoid on the Xbox 360 has a single player mode.

grid based SRPGs?

You have FFTactics and FFT-A

and NIS long list of games that are all iterations from la pucelle tactics to the disgaea series but very little else?

Do you count xcom in this genre?

What? There's loads of them mate (especially from Japan):

Tactics Ogre
Fire Emblem series
Langrisser series
Shining Force series
FFT A2
Hoshigami
Onimusha Tactics
Mercenaries Saga series
Front Mission series
Mystaria: The Realms of Lore/Blazing Heroes/Riglord Saga
Vandal Hearts series
Stella Deus
Rondo of Swords
etc. (And that's not even getting into the SRPG hybrids like Grand Kingdom & Devil Survivor series).

And upcoming for Vita and PS4 we have God Wars: Future Past & Mercenaries Saga 3 (exact same style as FFT) just came out on 3DS.

I frigging love this genre, it may be not be as popular as it used to be (there was soooo many released on the original PlayStation) but there's plenty of them to play.

I would love more in the
Plateform/Action with a heavy mecha with mission to fulfill subgenre
The term "heavy" is important for the genre i think, which is why game like Alien Soldier doesn't count

Of course, ther is the Assault Suit serie with the remake of Leynos recently... (My favorite is still Valken)
