Well deserved imo. Song is catchy af

Rain Drop, Drop Top, Migos hit number on the Hot Hot (100). "Bad and Boujee" as expected has topped the prestigious chart this week, giving the trio their first Hot 100 No. 1. It will also be the first Hot 100 No. 1 for featured artist Lil Uzi Vert. The previous peak for the Migos on the Hot 100 was "Fight Night," which hit No. 69 on the chart in 2014.

Driven by memes and an incredibly hype video of the trio playing the song in Nigeria, "Bad and Boujee" has exploded into the trio's biggest song yet, an unexpected success story. After last night's epic shoutout at the Golden Globes, the song has most likely cemented itself as a cultural landmark for Atlanta hip-hop.

There's no getting around the fact that objectively this is garbage but I still fuck with them. Don't know why but I do.

Ten years from now we will look back and wonder how we let mumble rap be a thing.
Not any more than we wonder why we let mumblecore become a movie genre thus letting Lena Dunham into our collective eyes.

Was boujee an actual word before this song or are people just making up words these days?

Yes. Usually spelled "bougie," meaning someone that's pretty stuck up, prolly doesn't mess with people they consider beneath them. Reasonably sure it's origin is from "bourgeois."

Just like taking an L, its old as shit people are just now hearing about it. I remember my cousin calling me Boujee when I was on this hyper intellectual ten Dollar word kick in the 90s. I was kid back then though 😂😂😂
