Watching the Jays dominate Spring Training feels so good.

I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts.

Sounds like Rogers Centre. Please someone power wash the walls in that place! Maybe put a backdrop behind the wall so it doesn't look like an old small town hockey arena too lol

I still want to get rid of Windows and put something else out there. Maybe a barbecue pit/bench area. Not sure how that would disrupt the batter's eye though.

Has anyone ever had a bite to eat at Windows restaurant?

No, but I've eaten at one of the places around Windows, I think it was called Arriba

We bought a voucher from one of those group deal sites and then the restaurant had 3 or 4 dollar (I think) tall cans the entire game

It was a 3 course meal for 4 people for like 120 dollars or less with the voucher? We all had steak

I ate at the restaurant on top of Windows for a game last year. Unlimited buffet + they pipe in the radio feed since the stadium announcer sound gets all muddy at that location. Best way to take in a ball game.

He was going to retire after this season. Damn you owners!

And the owners will probably get somebody more evil.

I might have to try that. Pricey?

It's encouraging. I'm a little concerned about the SP depth and a little more guaranteed production from LF would be nice, but it's also a vote of confidence for the potential to prove themselves.
Nice to enter a season with playoff hopes instead of the usual AL East fodder role.

Just got my tickets for the Rangers/Mariners game. Heavenly price in comparison to here.

Afterward I read about "The Champion Dog". Looks like I have a Texas challenge.

So I think Heyward and Freeman are going to be pretty good this year. Uggla and Prado too. We might score some runs and hit some dingers.

So all the way to the WS?

Reports coming out that the Phillies offered Cole Hamels a 4-year, $80 million extension and he declined it.

Seriously? He is a solid pitcher, but come on. Is he still living off the World Series and previous playoffs high? Whatever, though. Maybe he will test the market, get overpaid, and AJ Burnett some team

Congratulations, Curt on being inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame. Hello...hello? /endofmessage

Ellis Burks as well. One of my favorite Sox players of all time.

Whoa now all you bastards saying the M's will finish lower than the A's.

No way that happens .... JUST YOU WAIT TILL CERBERUS (Hultzen, Paxton and Walker) REARS ITS HEAD!

Which one will get TJ surgery and which one will become a middle reliever?

None of them. The Mariners actually groom good pitching prospects.

...checks calendar...

fGRam.jpg

I don't get this at all. I mean I've seen the gif with the guy ... but really ... this supposed to be some kind of hipster dig?

Anyway, I could photo shop him with a crew cut, baseball hat (backwards or forwards), khaki shorts or pants, sports team t-shirt and he could be from Boston.

So... anyone else getting up for regular season game #2 at 2am?

5am here and yep I'll be awake for part if not all of it.
