Anyone who thinks a release will occur this year is nuts. You know two more trailers have to be announced and released, you really are kidding yourselves.

Everything in that gif is gameplay. Not scripted either, you can grab any pedestrian and do that as long as you're near that type of phone.

How much of the motion do you control, though? Do you just push one button and he does the whole fight animation?

B to grapple, get the enemy near the object you want to interact with and press B again, he does the animation.
What were you expecting, a rythm game to blast someone's face with a phone? It has a great pacing, it's fine as it is.
