Just wanted to say I own the PCE Hucards for both Gradius TG-16 and Bomberman '94 and both are excellent and highly recommended. Aside from being a bit easier, Gradius is arcade perfect with a TG-16 exclusive level (dinosaur graveyard) and Bomberman '94 has both a great single player campaign and excellent multiplayer. Both are a great way to experience colorful, quality gameplay from the glory days of Konami and Hudson, plus BMan '94 is a good way to get ready for Bomberman R.

Here's hoping VC on Switch is handled better but I'm not getting my hopes up. So far I'm all set to keep my Wii U and 3DS as my "Virtual Console machines" going forward.

I wonder if VC will even be available at launch for the Switch or if we'll have to wait like with the 3DS, considering we almost have no details about it right now. Sure hope GBA &/or DS carries over as well.

Also ponder how the 3rd party support will be, especially if the GCN rumor is true. Would be cool if, considering Capcom's support, Killer 7 got added since they still own the rights.

Steel Empire is getting dropped by 66% today, so it'll be $10 US.

This pleases me.
For that price, I recommend it. I waited until it was $15 & was decently pleased with what I played.

So guess Tank Troopers will be about $7 or $8 for the US.

& considering we're less than 3 weeks away from the Switch launch, sure would be nice to get some VC details....

Do we know if Tank Troopers is going to be multiplayer only? Cos if so that thing is going to be dead out the gate. If there is a campaign I'll consider it since it looked cool in that Direct and is relatively cheap

There's a single player mode with 30 levels. It's still a weird decision to omit online multiplayer.

FFTA seems to be on sale only in Canada, looking at Nintendo's site. Is that accurate, can an American check?

Pretty sure it's no surprise, but looks like the Switch will get themes, which will be nice since the Wii U never got them. Hoping for some nice free ones like some of the ones the 3DS got & a few from My Nintendo (gimme a Switch version of that 30th anniversary Zelda theme). But at the very least there's a dark theme that I can use to match the Neogaf dark theme.

Hell, would be awesome if I could transfer over my Nintendo Badge Arcade to the system so I can have my system pixel badges in order to mark folders that have different VC titles.....but I don't think that'll happen. Just hope folders are included from the start or added soon after.

But to be more on topic, kind of wish Tank Troopers had a demo.

Anyone have the 3DS or Wii U VC versions of SNES Dracula X? Trying to decide which one i should pick up. SNES is generally considered better on 3DS yeah? But i'm hesitating a little cause i kinda want to play it on a bigger screen.

that's a good point... I'm gonna hold off on getting either of the BOTW 3DS themes, in case there's some available for Switch

The biggest difference with SNES VC is the 3DS version having the option for pixel-perfect mode while Wii U forces slight stretching to retain the original aspect ratio. If you're not concerned with that then I'd just base it on whether you'd rather play on the big screen and/or use a different controller.

Actually, will they update the store on Thursday next week, or wait until Friday to add everything else to go with the Switch launch.

......granted, I can't see any games or VC titles actually releasing next week.....unless Nintendo actually tells us details about VC on the Switch....
