Maxwell wouldn't make any sense for a portable system but it's Nintendo so who really knows :/

Four ARM Cortex-A57 cores, max 2GHz
NVidia second-generation Maxwell architecture
256 CUDA cores, max 1 GHz, 1024 FLOPS/cycle
4GB RAM (25.6 GB/s, VRAM shared)
32 GB storage (Max transfer 400 MB/s)
USB 2.0 & 3.0
1280 x 720 6.2" IPS LCD
1080p at 60 fps or 4k at 30 fps max video output
Capcitance method, 10-point multi-touch
This.Probably bullshit. I don't take for granted any leaks that magically pop right after the presentation.
They didn't say current generation tho
There's no way they'd do 32 gbs again, would they? Would they?
It's gotta be 500 gbs. Or 250. Something.
You can get 128gb SD cards for like 30 nowadays - so i dont think storage will be an issue. Though you might have to transfer between system flash and sd card for transfer speed reason - guess we will have to wait for more information.
It reads like X1.So they're using the same GPU as my Shield Tablet, or is it the X1?
prerelease dev kits are often underpowered compared to launch hardware
remember when people were making xbox 360 games on g5 mac pros?
32GB. Please not again.
Seeing as a lot of big retail games are hitting 50+GB nowadays, this is really disappointing...
Shield Tablet uses the K1, the Shield Tv is the one using the Tegra X1
I suppose theoretically the dev unit was running a maxwell based chip until the final specs were ready. I wouldn't buy into this though.
What???? Is this confirmed? Wtf why 720pthe shield portable had good battery life on older hardware and a 720p screen, this should be fine
Pascal is basically Maxwell II but shrunk down to 16nm. I don't believe there's any major architectural differences.This. Current devkits might be using Maxwell for the moment but the launch might be Pascal.
People complaining about 32GB on board.
1. Expandable storage with SD cards
2. No installs. Everything will load from the cartridges so they won't be needed. And patches will probably go onto the cartridges too.
Expandable via what? SD cards? Another bullshit propriety memory card solution?
why 720p
What???? Is this confirmed? Wtf why 720p
Are these coming to the Switch though.
Probably bullshit. I don't take for granted any leaks that magically pop right after the presentation.
What???? Is this confirmed? Wtf why 720p
the sdxc standard supports cards up to 2tbI just hope I can shove a 128GB SD card in there.
On a device this small? That is a hilarious wish.
higher res screens cost more, use more battery, and strain the gpu which costs in terms of battery and performanceWhat???? Is this confirmed? Wtf why 720p
Are you confusing PSVita with 3DS? Nintendo has used regular SD cards since the Gamecube.Expandable via what? SD cards? Another bullshit propriety memory card solution?
32GB is terrible of true. Should be 128GB at least.
I'd say these specs are true to an extent. It's Dev Kit Specs, and not production. 32GB is fine. games are on carts and i'm going to guess memory will be expandable
You know that jawn like 1000$ right? An iPhone has a 256GB sku and is smaller and thinner than this device.
What???? Is this confirmed? Wtf why 720p
