I can't figure out how some of them state that they read reviews, and yet they still didn't know the game was on-rails.Mojo said:Geez, don't these people take a minute to research a game before buying it? smh

Ain't gonna happen. That ship has long sailed. I would be surprised if Killzone even sells as well as either of the CoD games on PS3.
Mojo said:Ehhh, just mentioning the difference between KZ and HW was apparently close enough that the added 360 sales pushed HW to the top. We're a small market y'know.

I don't know. I'm no great lover of RTS, and I didn't pick up C&C... but I did play the Halo Wars demo (yes, because it had Halo in the title) and thought it was great fun.Raist said:Does it mean that a lot of Halo fans also are RTS fans? Doubtful IMO, but maybe, why not. Does it mean that a significant number of people bought it without knowing it was an RTS and because it had "Halo" in its title. I think so, yeah.

When you see that in UK it has outsold the latest C&C (which is a well established, popular and very good RTS franchise) 3:1, it's quite significant.

Not bought it yet though, but I will.

Also what a lot of people are doing is buying the console, and then trading Halo Wars in at EB, which they give a ridiculous $85 ($93 with EDGE) for the game (more than most stores are selling it), so you can use that to get basically any new release for free, or a couple of older releases. My friend bought a Pro and used HW to get Street Fighter 4 for free. Some EBs will even allow you to take the price of HW off the console making it AU$200 (US$127) for the Arcade.
First I read a few days ago, may have been Kotaku, not 100%. 2nd, got a friend who works at EB here and what a lot of people are doing is trading in HW straight away after they buy the console, EB are giving like $80-$90 trade in for the game alone if you trade it in early, that's about 1/3 of the Arcade price here. It's also been mentioned at heaps of Aussie forums and bargain sites. Kinda tempting me to buy a 2nd 360, lol.Karma said:How do you know this?

overall, pal at least , SFIV is doing better by quite a lot afaik. Its impressiveJtyettis said:Nice start for Total War. I wonder how many actual units it sold. Anyhow looks like GTA 360 has seen a nice bump post release DLC and Halo just keeps on giving. It has to be at close to 10 million WW by now. Real fight for SF IV with the back and forth between the 360 and PS3 these last three week as well.
