The UK numbers are up: quite a few mediocre releases this week. It's the calm before the storm.

‘Diablo III Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition’ brings Activision Blizzard’s long-running Action RPG to PS4 and Xbox One and in the process hands the franchise its first ever All Formats No1.

Originally launched on PC in May 2012, Diablo III debuted at No2 and was propelled back up to No3 in September 2013 thanks to its appearance on Xbox 360 and PS3. Launch week sales of the Ultimate Evil Edition (which also includes the original game) were split: 47% on PS4, 32% on Xbox One, 13% on Xbox 360 and 8% on PS3. The PS4 edition becomes the biggest Diablo III console launch, pipping the original Xbox 360 edition by around 500 units. ‘The Last of Us: Remastered’ (-24%) drops to No2 after a three week run at the top, ahead of a rejuvenated ‘Plants Vs Zombies: Garden Warfare’ (+200%) which sprouts up from No15 to No3 thanks to new PS4 and PS3 versions.
Sales of ‘Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’ are up 5%, leaving it down one place at No4, while sales of the PS3 edition drop 5% making it slip two places to No7. ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (+7%) rises one place to No5, no doubt feeling the continued beneficial effects of the recently launched fourth and final DLC pack ‘Nemesis’. Previously at either No1 or No2, this week ‘Watch Dogs’ (-11%) drops out of the Top 5, down to No6. ‘The Lego Movie Videogame’ (-11%) and ‘GTA V’ (+3%) are still proving popular, at No’s 8 and 9 respectively. J-RPG ‘Tales of Xillia 2’ from Bandai Namco manages a Top 10 debut at No10, meaning ‘FIFA 14’ (-24%) falls out of the Top 10 for the first time, slipping 5 places from No7 to No12.

Individulal Top 40 UK

PvZ had a horrible PS Family debut, looks like this series will be favoured by XBox owners for the time being.
