MW2's legs are [still] amazing. Most (read: I) seemed to assume that it would start stronger than NSMBW but peter off much more quickly, but it's been out for a really long time and is only now showing only the slightest signs of weakness in some countries. It was consistently #1 or #2 in Denmark (for instance) all year until this week.
repeating the obvious, I know, but it's blowing my mind, even if MW1 tracked in a similar way ... don't sequels to big games more often have higher initial sales and at least slightly weaker legs than their predecessors?
