Okay. So I told my wife that I want to buy a share of an island. She said from whom? I said a guy named Shao Kahn Brewing a Stew. She replied "odd name". She asked if I ever met him. I said well I have a picture his mom probably took of him dressed in what looks like baseball catchers gear, some kind of pole while wearing a skull mask. And he is sitting on a toilet. She kind of looked at me. Well I said his motto in life is: "lapdance transform pants". She gave me that look that this was not going well. I told her could this go wrong?

Edit: will there be co-op? I've never played a cRPG before, and my wife has barely played anything. How obtuse is this? And most importantly, is this PC-only?

Once I get paid next week I shall chip in a bit as well. I loved the First Pillars of Eternity and I should say it sparked my interest for Paper RPG's.

Do we know the current amount? I will probably pitch in with some $20 or more later today.

Having your own island in a game like this is too much fun to let the chance go.


Edit: I went to the fig website and the island thing is already taken (2 out of 2). Are we one of those two, are we late, or are we going to be an exception?

I'm gonna pitch in later this week on top of my pledge. I think having this be the island Erol of Levi ran too could tie up the two locations nicely.

The island could have a small fishing village inhabited by strange hybrids who worship an ageless underwater unfathomable deity

The awakening of a god is the basis of the game story, isn't it ? Could mean that the stars are right...

I'll pledge a few bucks later.

They already hate the Pillars series due to Obsidian "censoring" the important and deep lore in one of the backer memorials in PoE 1.

Ohhh please let there be a cave full of trolls named after GAF members and then you have to escort bishop through the cave and he kills all the trolls with a ban hammer and then at the end bishop thinks you're a troll and he tries to kill you and then if you beat him the ghost of Erol of Levi comes out and tells bishop that he's gone mad from the power of the ban hammer and that he has to leave the island and then you get the ban hammer and it doesn't do any damage except it kills all trolls with one hit and then when you equip the ban hammer all the normal npcs in the game look like trolls to you and you can kill them if you want but it breaks the game cus the guards are after you or you might kill an important npc or something and then people can complain on the internet about how GAFs ban hammer is broken.

Damn right I'm pitching in! I'm a broke boi this month so I can't spend anything more than like $20, but I'm going to do my part thats for sure.

I originally only put in about 30 hours into PoE when it came out but I started replaying it since the campaign launched and WOW has the game come along since launch. They seriously revamped it.

Just call a bottle of spirits found on the island "Shandy 706" and I'm happy. Shandy is an actual beer/drink mixture, perfect.
