It was the comment "*Sigh* I wish more of you actually developed games for a living.... " that prompted the bulk of my post. The SYSTEM is the problem too. So i wonder what developers think about it.

Developers see it the same way they see any system that doesn't absolutely guarantee them a money back from every single copy of their game distributed or redistributed. Which puts this system in the company of every other system for developers.

While we're retreading then, how do you feel about the way music studios now offer infinitely shareable copies of artists' songs via iTunes, Amazon MP3 and the like?

i'm more interested in that to be honest given i spent 4 years working in music copyright, 2 years of which on internet piracy/policy

Music studios make everyone else look amateurs when it comes to screwing over content creators though they might finally be taking the data that's been available for some time : piracy isn't entirely to blame for the mess they are in.

Ugh, I really can't understand how someone can like Metal Gear enough to tolerate Portable Ops' controls.

Or how someone as intellegent as Kojima can disregard the MGS1 camera, which would work wonderfully, in favor of the new free camera which works HORRIBLY on the PSP.
