Do you see arrows pointing on the left or right? that would mean the pokemon is off camera and you need to turn to face it in AR mode.
Hmm so in the bottom right, there's the Nearby icon with a list of pokemon. Does that mean that these pokemon are likely to be found near me?

Fuck UK iPhone users, right?
Haven't tried this yet, but does the game run fine on iPhone 5s?
Soo.. Are there any social features, or identifying other users in Go? Won't be able to really sink my teeth into this until tomorrow morning.

Still don't see this on UK store, the fuck Apple?
At the moment, yeah. The lower the footprint amount, the closer they are I think.
No those are actually pokemon near you. If you can see the pokemon thats ones you have seen or caught. Grey ones are new.
It means those Pokemon are near you right now. One footstep means they're very close. Three means they are farther away, but still relatively close (can be 300 feet away or so from my experience).
Nope. For something that was promised to be a social experience, this is very solitary.
Has nothing to do with Apple. Niantic are staggering the launch

I'm in Japan (downloaded it with my US account) and I keep getting the grey pokeball spinning on the top left. I assume it's not connecting properly or something? Oh well, can't really spend much time on this as I'm at work, so I'll give it a try when I get home.
By the way the japanese are raging right now like "WTF Japan is the Pokemon country why can'y we play this ?!" haha.
It is kinda messed up heh.
EDIT: What do blue bars mean next to attacks?

Hey! Yeah, I know who you areHey Mik, I'm your french ex-coworker from youknowwhere
We can't play in Japan right now because Niantic blocked everything here. I could manage to play yesterday morning with the australian app for 3 hours only, could catch a bunch of pokemons, almost got to level 5, and JUST when I got to Hakata Station's 3 gyms everything just disappeared around me So yeah we just have to wait for the official launch in Japan...

From what I understand, the first attack is the basic attack you perform by tapping. Once you build enough blue bars, you can tap and hold to perform the second attack.
It's the amount of gauge needed to perform the attack. Attack 2 of all pokemon is performed by holding then releasing once the charge attack is full. Keep in mind, you need to generate power gauge by attacking with Attack 1 first.
So it's basically a Pokemon's "Super Move".
Man how yall getting eggs?
I need to go to one but im barely level 4Pokestops!
I have three pokestops that, if I go to in a circle, are about a mile to a mile and a half. And a gym next to one of them My god this game is addicting already

It is going to be massive. This is a bigger hit than Miitomo already.
Oh snap, ima see if I can get to one in the morningLevel doesn't matter with the egg, sooner the better. I got both of my eggs before level 5 and I'm only a fraction of a km from hatching each. I did pay roughly a dollar or so for a second incubator (which you should put the egg in right after obtaining), but one of your free key items is an infinite incubator.

So the more the better or the less the better? I noticed one bar attack usually has higher power.
My roommate just caught this thing, and she went to challenge the gym with it. I'm jealous
man that's really annoying... is that true even if I have an Au account? I think I can d/l onto my old aussie phone but every other device is currently incompatible...
So before evolving, sorta like in the main series, is it best to build CP as high as you can? I'm assuming the moves are rng from a set of possible?
That Tentacruel is a perfect example. It's one long bar. Takes ages to fill, but it's much stronger as compensation. I have an Ivysaur that's the same with Solar Beam. Smack them around for a bit with Vine Whip, then go for the kill with Solar Beam.
Right now in Aus, the meta is ~500 CP (in Sydney anyway). My Seaking is putting in work.
Unfortunately this is the one piece of info I don't know. I'm trying to test this with several Pidgeys, but I've run out of Stardust.
