This weekend I finally got around to playing this demo, and it was a complete blast. Visual style and presentation, the music, and the battle system were all so very, very good. Voice acting could use a lot of work still, though despite that the game is now my most anticipated upcoming release (after Mario Odyssey).

Honestly, the game feels like a lost 32-bit era Squaresoft title, and it makes me wistful for more titles like it.

Nintendo just posted a video that shows some changes made to the game using the feedback from the surveys. Looks very promising, I'm glad Square-Enix is this heavily on board with Switch.

I just played the demo about two weeks ago, was very impressed! Haven't even played the guy's side yet but explored quite a bit of Primrose's section past where the plot ends. Suddenly very hyped for the game
