Not to mention XDR2 doesn't actually exist. =P
I personally would love to see XDR2 in the PS4. It would be a logical step because PS2/PS3 had Rambus memory (RDRAM, XDR) and it is fast and efficient. Furthermore it can be stacked if I am not mistaken. Also Samsung is bailing out from GDDR5 - rumours had new ATI GPUs with XDR2 and the possibility of a PS4 might be enough production volume for Samsung, Hynix to licence the product instead of producing GDDR5 modules. The only problems I see is that Rambus is not really liked in the industry and the price - but with Sony going "all in" I think XDR2 would be the right way.
