Psvr and Porn: The Elephant in the Room

This is legit one of the main things that i want from VR. It's going to be insane once the form factor becomes smaller, more comfortable and wireless.
I've never tried VR porn, but it just seems like too much work. I get the feeling I'll never go through the trouble of setting it all up for porn. Not to mention the waste of battery (is it even wireless? I have no idea).
But maybe it's just like VR itself, and you have to try it to understand.
2D also probably won't be very good. If regular anime porn is usually poorly made, imagine if they have to invest more money into making it VR compatible. Manga porn will always be the best.
It's also one of the reasons why I don't mind the fact that console stores don't allow porn games. If it helps them get a bigger budget, then it's for the best. The other being just that I think teasing fits gaming better than porn. It's more interesting to be aroused but still into the game than just having the game playing itself so you can masturbate, in my opinion. I can't really see myself using a game for masturbation, it's weird.

Accidentally catching someone jacking it to VR porn is going to be the worst.
They will have a headset and headphones on. They might not hear you open the door so they wont immediately stop. You will have to make the call to make your presence known to them or quietly back out of the room.

There will be support for VR movie/video material for PSVR.
There are movies and documentaries in production for VR viewing and Sony will make sure they work on their platform, too. VR videos have certain standards (180°, 360°, certain distortions etc.) and it doesn't matter if you film a tiger or a sexscene. Blu-rays would be one official way for how VR porn can get on the system.
What's uncertain is if they implement a VR video app / upgrade their media player to work with your own VR videos. In principle those are just *.mp4 that you can download from the porn sites and play them on PC/mobile - and maaayyybeeee PS4.
I hope they do because the quality of my 20€ Chinese GearVR knockoff is pretty shitty, but also not bad enough to shell out 750€ to watch them on PC

I'm actually really excited to try vr porn. It's something new that I've never experienced, that sort of evolution doesn't happen often. Don't see myself trying it often, but who knows, maybe the wife will dig it, lol.

If you are satisfy with just 360 video porn, you are better off getting those cheap samsung gear VR, or those plastic VR case which let you slot your phone in.
The PS VR isn't going to provide better experience in this regard.

It's not hard to experience VR porn. I've done it on Gear VR, both 3D video and 360 video. It's pretty cool, but the only thing that sucks right now is that the current content is lame. But when good content rolls out, and it will, it will be fantastic. Seeing a woman's body with depth and dimension and being able to look around the scene is much more compelling than regular ol' pron. Even just photos, let alone video.
That doesn't even count interactive, game-ified digital porn experiences that software companies will dream up.

It will be absurd for ps vr to not have a 360 video player that allows USB playback. As long as this is present, vr porn will work.

There's already VR porn from the females perspective. I have yet to work up the courage to try it. Having some strange woman shove her boobs in my face can get weird enough, I imagine a guy sticking his penis in my face would be even weirder.

I showed VR porn to my female coworkers (who don't even really watch regular porn) and they were much more comfortable with the usual male POV because having an unknown muscular guy in your face was too threatening (also he was kinda fugly)
