The gameplay section (which obviously wasnt live action) was all totally in-engine and real-time. Some of it was with a directors camera, but if the gun was in Capellis hand, thats us playing the game at Insomniac this past week!

In many ways, its a best of both worlds. The story is a darker, more focused road trip, but uses the in-engine cinematics that R2 really excelled at. The tone is darker like RFOM, but also has some of that Americana that you saw with the christmas decorations in the flooded city, football stadium, etc.
I think it takes the best of both and combines them.
