3D World is such a masterpiece.

The soundtrack is always overlooked too. I loved that jazzy period Nintendo went through.

Been in a real Mario mood lately. I just bought a Wii U for cheap last week and the first two games I bought were NSMBU and this. I started NSMBU first but I'm almost done. I've dabbled a bit with this so far and it seems pretty good. I like 3D Land a lot, I hope this compares.

I think I prefer this game over the Galaxies; it's 2D Mario gameplay perfectly translated into 3D. It might be top 3 Mario for me.

"Super Mario Distilled" should be the alternate title for this game. Nintendo was so locked in to their 3D platforming formula with this game. Such a blast.
