If FFXV is exclusive yes, I think that's the most likely outcome. I'm personally hoping it's MGSV next-gen PS4 exclusive but I'm afraid too much of the game has been shown to be that.

I remember all the hilarious promises of cross platform multiplayer with pc, never happened
I would like it if they tried and m/k became huge on consoles though, then shooters could start supporting it too and rpgs and other games that really need more than a shitty 8 buttons and a shitty analog stick.

I can see that happening easily if PS4 comes with PSEye Sony would wanna sell the user base on getting a Move. They will have a showcase title for a new Move game for PS4, perhaps from Zindagi or a other De eloped that makes Move games. Sony would want a game that is a competitor to one of Ms showcase Kineton games

But when I see people always expecting what the conference will be like, they forget to mention actually unveiling the launch plans for PS4, what the console will look like, remote play demos, etc. It will be ALOT to pack into one conference.

I expect many people to be disappointed this E3. Personally for me a Santa Monica new IP would be huge as well as seeing a next generation version of Last Guardian.
I don't think DriveClub and GT6 will both be at the same event. Chances are one of them will be shown at Gamescom. My money is on DriveClub being at Gamescom
edit: as for surprises..I want one that will actually 'surprise' me. Maybe something like Mirrors Edge 2 or Beyond Good or Evil 2 being ps4 exclusive. It won't be much of a surprise otherwise

I think they will both be there, DC being shown on stage/gameplay presentation and GT6 will be mentioned and a trailer will be shown when they talk about the PS3.

My expectations are extremely low and am just looking forward to 1 new ip for PS4, 2 for Vita, and Infamous Second Son gameplay.
Still... reading your list makes me drool, if that actually is true.
The Last Guardian alone will make me have a panic attack and I don't think I would be able to play The Last of Us a few days later just sitting down.

I think if MM has anything with more substance to show thats where move will come into play since they seem to think it will add something to their next game. We will see though, they could easily save MM for gamescom.
I also think people are missing an aspect to this which is indie games. I dont know how much Sony will push that initative at E3(im sure there will be lots on the show floor), but people have been claiming Sony was doing something that would "blow the doors off" for indies.
I dont know who it could be, but i do think we will see atleast one significant indie developer on Sony's stage at E3.

Well Panopticon is being unveiled officially on Tuesday..and we should see TLOU MP details too next week. Doubt they will drop anything bigger than that tho

I think the only thing that could have realistically vied for mindshare with a new console (physical and conceptual) would have been GT6 on PS4, and that ship has sailed, so probably nothing.

We prolly will see the new Housmarque game at E3 too. The composer guy confirmed he was working on a PS4 game so SSD4K edition or something.

Might not be that big but some big bombs for the Last of Us waiting to be unveiled. I think there is a huge embargo on the press for many things, and they have yet to unveil MP yet have teased it so much.
As for PS4, I don't think they will slip things until a week before E3. PS3 and Vita stuff from now until E3.
Crap totally forgot about Housemarque. Those guys brought out some of the best games between dead nation, stardust HD, and Delta.
Yeah my best guess for the indie dev spot would have been House Marquee, or Q-games. They could also unveil a full featured Minecraft that is 1.1 with the PC version. In terms of indies there are lots of options, same could be said for First party games aswell. I would not be surprised if we dont see DC, Infamous, Killzone at all during the conference, and they leave it for show floor, and gamesite previews etc.
Considering Sonys stable they could easily show nothing but more new games during the press conference, I would not be surprised if Sony pushes for real time gameplay for destiny at their conference.
Capcom is going to show proper Deep Down gameplay and melt everyone's face off when it looks as good as it did at the PS Meeting.

I wish Sony would stop making linear action games, they have enough already. I want to see them breaking the mold. As much as I enjoy their games they always come off as a responce to MS. KZ happened because Halo, Uncharted happened because Gear. And the one time they did something awesome like Demon's Souls they didn't even bloody support it. They even gave up LA Noire for some reason, that game is such a fresh experience.
I want to see ND tackle a huge open world game. I know they are masters at making linear experiences with beautiful graphics, but they've never done a sandbox game.

Guerilla Games new RPG IP could be something different. Also Planetside 2 is different from most shooters. Though I agree and I bet both Ready at Dawn and Santa Monica IP will be action adventure fames that will be linear. I also forgot Quantic Dreams games are unique as well as Media Molecule games. Oh and inFamous is different too.
I'd be pretty happy with that, sounds realistic too, largely what I'd guess. Maybe kick off with a new game announcement given how well that went down with Beyond last year.
Wasent Uncharted in development before gears of war was offically announced? Other than some base mechanics they are not really that much alike honestly.
This is also ignoring stuff like LittleBigPlant, God of war(Ms does not have a counter imo) , Infamous is loosly similar to Crackdown I guess but different in allot of ways. Then you have stuff like Heavy Rain, Flower,Journey, Unfinsihed Swan, Last of Us, Beyond, etc....
There is some overlap sure because how many ways can you really make an FPS,TPS, or Racing game, but Sonys done a ton of original IP this gen. Its just a shame last guardian never made it out.

I love both God of War and Uncharted, but i think they should take a break and release them only in 2015-2016, to prevent franchise fatigue.
They can both try new IP's at the start of this gen.
