Yeah, the US PSN version costs a lot less.
That's surprising then, as I thought most digital purchases on PSN cost a lot more. Does that only apply to EU then?
Yeah, the US PSN version costs a lot less.
It can still be region locked if Ubisoft desire. Atlus did it with Persona 4 Arena.
We don't know for certain whether or not the censorship applies to the PC version. Ubi's yet to clarify the matter.
Well the review guide on the first page only mentions the console versions have been censored, not PC as well.
I would imagine if it was all versions of the game they would of said.
But the fact that they say console versions of south park are cut makes me also believe that the PC is exempt of this fact.
I'd be wary of taking the review info sheet at its word: some of the patch notes are PS3-specific and so it could very well be a PS3 variant of the document; ergo, the censorship warning at the bottom, while specific, could be contextual (i.e. it only mentions the console versions because the info sheet is for a console version).
Then again, you would think Eurogamer must have received their own review copy complete with the info sheet and knows how to interpret that kind of documents. That is if they just didn't report the news without any sort of further research on the matter.I'm not saying it's likely, but it is a possibility.

Exactly. They'll make up for it.So Matt and Trey are writing the text for the censored part?
Dis gonna be GUUUUD!
I think I just 'forced' an answer from Ubisoft:

Anyone know how trustworthy videogamesplus.ca is? £37 inc shipping so only a couple quid more than amazon for the UK version

Good job mate. At least there's still the PC version to look forward to.
The Minimum Requirements are also pretty damn low, which is an added bonus. Anyone with a PC made in the past 5-6 years should be able to enjoy the game lol.
abortion censored in europe but not america

Physical? Are digital versions not censored?
Physical? Are digital versions not censored?
abortion is more of a red button topic in america, judging from how obsessed the media gets over it.Abortion is legal in America despite some people being unhappy about it. It wouldn't make sense to censor it here either.
Doesn't matter either way. With how ridiculous digital prices are on the PS Store in EU, digital isn't an option.
Wait, that can't be true. They would have to at least remove the swastikas and other Nazi symbols for the German version.
Well, first it turns out to be a short 12 hour RPG, then they cut it. No thanks, I'm not getting it. Keep your junk.
Where are people getting their PC copies from anyway? I just got both Thief and LoS2 for around £22 each which is what I'm looking for with South Park. Haven't had much luck so far though. Maybe I'll actually end up having to pay RRP (shock horror)....
So I have a feeling that marketing decision is somehow related to what content MS and Sony want on their platform. I can't think of any other explanation.
Lucky for me I got the PC version, so I am golden.
When was this confirmed?
