Spark Unlimited making High Profile 3rd Person Action/Horror Sequel [Up: Capcom Ties]

The columns on this page actually refer to the various projects: http://www.sparkunlimited.com/jobs_currentjobs.html

The sci-fi one you linked is under the other column for the action/adventure game.

Their site is a bit haphazardly laid out though, yeah.

Sounds to me like a spinoff from a major franchise, not a full-fledged sequel to a major franchise. Also, the way it's worded, the franchise wasn't necessarily a third-person horror series. The spinoff Spark is working on will be a third-person horror game, though.

Why do I think it's Onimisha? I can't imagine even Capcom giving a western company a main Resident Evil title.

An Onimusha reboot seems likely though. It is a horror/action game after all.

Dino Crisis could be fun but I hold no hope there.

RE6, maybe? If RE6 is a direct sequel to RE5, I don't really think they'll get me easily. I'm ok with Revelations because it's on 3DS. But I want my mainline RE to transform.

I have images of RE ala rebooted Tomb Raider...

Ugh. UGH. The two horse race of horribleness this gen between Capcom and Konami just became a clear win to Capcom. I love how they seem to continually shit on Japanese development yet team up with mediocre to terrible western developers. Really shows they've got no clue.

Its either Dino Crisis or Onimusha. With Unreal Engine 3...i'm leading closer to Dino Crisis for some reason. Even though Asura's Wrath looks pretty good in motion.
