Raiders is the only Indy movie I like to be honest
Last Crusade is my favorite of the four, but Raiders is the only one I'd call a legitimately great film.

Not in a world where 4 exists. He's right, you know.
He's right, you know.
He's absolutely right. Temple of Doom is annoying more than it is fun.
Knew he had shitty taste
The Indy films decrease in quality as they go. Temple is the 2nd best Indy film, despite all its sweaty, freaky ugliness (and in some cases, because of it)
But The Last Crusade exists.
So the point still stands. It is a step down from Temple of Doom, but just a slight step down and to the side.
He is right, terrible movie.
People picking Temple of Doom over Last Crusade?
what the
Mola Ram sucks and the opening song number is the only great part of the film.
um num shi bub
um num shi bub
um num shi bub
um num shi bub
Directors are wrong about their own movies all the time.
It's not like that movie isn't wrapped up in most of the shittiest memories of the darkest period of his professional life or anything, either.

He's been apologizing for it for so long that it's just rote at this point. And tired.
