Well at least the puzzle was interesting.

is the best girl since she decides to be Onizukas henchgirl
So awesome!
This isn't really a show with teams.
Kirino is one of the worst characters ever, Kuroneko is a goddess.
*I only follow Moejita and Saori.
If anything, it will at least sell a ton of burgers!Majestic Prince 1
Please get a huge fandom.

Fun jokes, silly gags, the main guy isn't really a wimp and this show does have good timing with the jokes. Hopefully it doesn't devolve into romance and I'll stick with it.
I think we've found out what's gonna be the commercial hit of the season, people. That burger king logo in the credits, I want the MJPR burger.
I thought we were yuri bros
That's what happens when I've forgotten to take my 3DS out with me for over a month. Least I unlocked that one achievement for it.Yeah, I got both of you guys as well. You jerks didn't have a single puzzle piece I didn't already have.
Because purple is the best colour in the world and if I had my way all consoles would be purple. Take that anti GameCube people. Why does no-one ever wear a white T-shirt? I need a Mii with light powers to do the screen in StreetPass Quest I'm stuck on
Also yes, it IS the year of Luigi, you are most correct.

We are! We're just on opposing sides in this war.
You know what they say, enemies today, friends tomorrow!
I never expected :SDburton to go for the kirino route.
But then again i can understand
Our paths diverge for this anime but at least we'll find ourselves with the same goals later maybe.
You know what, fuck it.

Welcome, brother.
Kirino is the best character in Ore. All you plebs can't understand her.
She plays games where you have to capture the heart of a young maiden. I must support her as she supports the garden.
You're right, I can't understand being a fuckface to your onii-chan literally all the time!
is the best girl since she decides to be Onizukas henchgirl
So awesome!
Spoken like a single child.
And this is why i can understand you ..
However kuroneko has just way too many attributes for me to ignore, maybe i'm biased after playing the psp games .. but i won't change my opinion about her .
They hijacked our colours! #RDG
April's Fools was last Monday, bro.
I think I like Maou-sama more than the other first episodes because it sets up its simple premise well. I feel like the other shows don't do that as well, which is why I'm not as excited about them.
In Maou-sama, you know a basic background about the characters so far (even the heroine), you know what they want to do, and you know where the initial tension in the show will come from. Everything's very clearly explained for me.
All of this is accompanied by funny gags, although I admit that I'm a sucker for sudden stops in music during punchlines and jokes where serious situations are built up only for a joke to appear. For example, when Ashiya trying to use magic, nothing happens the first time and a taxi stops a second time. During the montage where Maou integrates themselves into society, the first two scenes are relatively serious and the Maou is smooth regarding his explanation. The last scene (rule of three!), of course, subverts this and I found it hilarious.
Unfortunately, I don't think Oregairu, MJP, and DS2 were as successful. Oregairu especially fared the worst of the four to me. By the end, I had no idea what the show wanted to do, and the characters suffered for it. I get that the show is going to be about the group helping each other through their problems, but it doesn't really do a good job of showing you that. Hachiman might be one who will go through the most change, but his relationship with Yukino doesn't change and he even helps Yui out. Yukino is obviously the main heroine, but I have no idea how she's going to get through to Hachiman and, as a character, she feels shallow because everything about her is told to you (this is probably because they're in clubroom basically all the time).
I'm easily amused and find a lot of mediocre jokes hilarious, but most of the talking in Oregairu isn't very interesting. The jokes that worked for me actually had a punchline. I thought Hachiman's flashbacks were funny because they build up to something. Yukino's insults and their conversations in general aren't really funny because it feels like the jokes are just sprinkled in their conversations for seasoning. I dunno. Everything in the show just feels really unfocused, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were due to a lazy transition from a light novel format to an anime format. Oregairu reminds me of the reasoning KyoAni had for introducing new characters: Having only two or three characters talking in a scene may work for a light novel, but it feels incredibly empty in an anime.
I kinda feel like I don't know where MJP is going as well, except less so. I actually thought the reactions were kinda funny until the last joke. As I said, I'm easily amused, lol. They were actually set up as jokes, which Oregairu didn't do. I can see why people might have been turned off by them though, since they repeat the same joke at least three times without any real variation. I also feel like they didn't do a great job setting up the show. The setting is a war between humans and aliens. The characters were awful in school, didn't have really interesting goals when asked, and did a great job in the field defying everyone's expectations in the field. That's great. With that in mind, does it really matter to me what happens after? I'm not really interested a show where I should expect the main characters to fail every time, only for them to succeed because they're actually not bad. Should I expect them to succeed every time only for them to fail at a critical moment? I don't know what the conflict in the show is.
DS2 does a good job telling me what I should expect from the show. It's just kinda boring, lol. The main characters are really plain so far. It's unfortunate too because, to me, this kind of plot kinda needs you to care about the futures of the characters, but I don't have reasons to. I really like Nitta though, and her Digimon is BLANKA. I'll probably watch it for her, lol.
Well, I shouldn't be too down on DS2, or any of the other shows so far, because I enjoyed watching them. DS2 first episode worked well enough to set things up, and I can't be too greedy with first episodes. Same with MJP. I'm sure the characterization in DS2 and the plot in MJP will come with time. I'm not as confident about Oregairu. Hopefully, it gives me reasons to continue with the show, lol.
so cute
[Flowers of Evil] - 1
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I thought this was really, really good. I guess this means I'm now a member of some camp that's diametrically opposed to some other people.
I'm, strangely enough, in this group. Don't really know what it is about this show, but I really kind of enjoy it. Especially that bizarre ending "theme"
[Death Billiards]
I really enjoyed this well. I had no problem with the ambiguity of the narrative, or the twists and turns that the story went through. In the end it was a character study and it's pretty easy to see what kind of characters these gentlemen had. However, as a character study I think we needed to learn a bit more about these folks then we actually got.
Also, I thought the ending was a little flat despite the fact that the ambiguity doesn't bother me.
Nice to see Hataraku Maou-sama! gets some exposure here and not being written off easily.
How do Japanese otaku watch these shows? Stay up late then sleep 3-4 hours before the day begins? Sleep beforehand? Record it on VHS, or whatever technology?
That all sounds promising. Maybe this season won't suck after all.
[Ore no Imouto something something season 2] ten seconds into episode 1
Flashback of naked little Kirino entering the bath to spend some fun times with her brother
NOPE
So I read there's a new DD Hokuto no Ken series airing this season- WHY DID NON OF YOU TELL ME OF THIS?!! DD Hokuto no Ken is the best HnK anime ever.
The manga is way better, yes.GTO 43 fin
Just finished it, beautiful ending...Is the manga as good?but why did Onizuka go to America? Did he flee, because he was innocent.
Highly recommended, humoristic yet can be serious at times when Onizuka is giving life lessons... Vice principal was a good guy, he redeemed himself in the end by standing up against the board of education. He is a true professional in the holy vocation.
