Star Wars |OT| I have a very good feeling about this...

Craziest idea I heard: she's a clone of Luke's hand.

Haha:

Here's what REALLY HAPPENS:

After Luke lost his lightsaber in Bespin, it was recovered from the ductwork by whoever. They sold it on the black market. His dismembered hand was with it, so that was frozen in a small carbonite container. Whoever bought the hand took it straight to Kamino. Maybe someone working for Snoke? I dunno. Anyway, the longnecks used the hand to clone Luke.

Rey HAD no mother, just like Anakin had no father. It's kinda like poetry.

The Star Wars Facebook page posted this 360 view of the Jedha tank scene with some commentary from Gareth. George suggested the Hovertank pilots have their own helmets.

SlashFilm have also got hold of a few photos that show how some events were changed.

That ABC behind the scenes was very nice. I look forward to a more in depth look at the process on the dvd. The life cast was a handy, if ghoulish aid. The early test shooting almost suggests that they were trying to film as much in camera as possible. Very lowfi. Quite cheeky. Love that they put a wig on Guy Henry maybe it was an acting aid as well as reference for lighting.

So, whats the function of the Tie-Striker? U-Wing is a troop transporter, that has been shown in the movie, but I am not sure regarding the Striker. Its a In-Atmosphere-Ship? Nothing that is supposed to fly around in space?

Yeah, it's supposed to specialise in in-atmosphere missions. In Rogue One they only turn up beneath the shield on Scarif.

How many did you guys actually spot in the film? I can remember General Merrick being killed by one but that's about it. They had to kill my favourite minor character.

Still super strange how few screentime that thing had. I mean, its better the way they handled it in the movie, so it doesnt feel strange that these Strikers never show up again, but still.
U-Wing is also great handled. There was just never any opporturnity to deploy troops in the OT.

Yeah Hoth is literally the only place they could potentially have made sense.

I was actually pretty disappointed when the U-Wing crashed. They may have gone through hundreds of designs but it was worth it. Far superior to the troop transport the Resistance were using in TFA.

Really liked the Zeta class shuttle as well.

So much TFA stuff looks horrendous by comparison to Rogue One.
Look at all the weapons they invented for Rogue One
U-wing door gun
Deathtrooper blasters

They look like they belong in Star Wars.

What else didn't you like? The Resistance transport was the only ship I thought looked kinda fugly.

The Tydirium devirate? Really dislike the shape of that thing, it just a shape with a super tiny window. Looks super bland IMO.

I liked watching them fly off on Jedha. It's supposed to be for cargo so it looks a bit more industrious than the Lambda or Delta.

Safe and familiar, maybe, but there's nothing that looks "horrendous" in TFA. I agree that R1 was much more creative in general though.

The First Order Weapons look awful, like cheap Super soakers designed by the guys that make these strange Star Wars Hotwheels.

I preferred the blasters in Rogue One overall. Cassian's rifle is my favourite out of the two new films. Love how easily he can convert it to a sniper rifle. Baze's repeater cannon and Chirrut's light bow were pretty great too.

I don't think they look "awful" by any means but I do prefer the more traditional looking blasters. Wasn't a huge fan of the weapon Han gives to Rey either. Darker colors work best for weapons.

Updated that post with images i was talking about.
Weapons(other than Han's and the First Orders standard blaster),
The transports both Resistance and First Order's*.
the weird First Order hover car thing.
Not a big fan of the new X-Wing as well.

*it really takes the cake for me
latest

Why is it so bland?

This, funny thing is its essentially just the main part of an M4/M16 and then crazy attachments as well.

Jyn's blaster was designed for it as well but its never shown in the movie
