STEAM | September 2017 - Summer Ys Ending

KT is just on another level. They already have 1080p assets why the PC version is 720p?

They even downscaled the 1080p assets...

Didn't they already do this with one piece? Mixing Vita with PS4 assets for a custom PC version

Yeah. The high-res assets are even available for the PC port. Its just that the games graphical options are broken besides the resolution slider, so no matter if you choose high or low options, you always have the same options.

I know you guys don't give a fuck about Princess Serena, but it still has me amazed that the people who brought it to Steam are so amateur hour they didn't even include all the text files, so the game crashes. They fucked up the image names one way or another, so unless you rename some images, the game crashes. They fucked up some script stuff, so the game crashes.

Considering the people who put this game on Steam are people who are constantly making (porn) VNs and (porn) RPG Maker games I am really wondering how they managed to fuck this up so badly.

When Idea fucking Factory does a better PC version of their games than you...

I just rather not have any of your shitty ports, KT.

TBH, Idea Factory should be the standard for a lot of these japanese studios. Their ports aren't crazy, but they were getting shit mostly right from day one.
That's assuming the ports didn't get worse after nep rebirth 1 and fairy fencer f which are the only ones I've played

Rebirth 1 wasn't that good at release with locked resolution, but it was fixed and most ports are good. PS4 ports might be a bit demanding tho.

Re;birth2 has awful audio balance in the PC version, some music tracks are far too quiet and some are far too loud. Also framerate always drops when a guard break happens.

Re;birth3 kept using more and more VRAM over time, getting to a point where framerate would take a nosedive, I would have to close the game and open it again every few hours or so, though this was back when I had a GTX 960 2GB. No idea how it fares in PCs with graphics cards with more memory than that.

Megadimension Neptunia VII is mostly okay, though more demanding than the Re;birth games of course (since it's a PS4 version port). I couldn't keep framerate at 60fps at all times, but it didn't drop much, mostly to the 50s or so (my CPU is very outdated, so it could be because of that).

So somebody stole my account yesterday. My own fault insofar as I didn't have the mobile authenticator thing set up because I figured it was an unnecessary hassle. But confused as to how it happened since there was no evidence anybody broke into my email accounts. And scanned my PCs and they're clean.

Anyway, I opened a ticket on the Steam site and provided proof of ownership of the account per their instructions. Anybody gotten their shit jacked lately? How long has it been taking for them to get people's accounts back? I'm reading horror stories where it takes several weeks. One guy said it took 52 days to get his account back. o_O

EDIT: Did manage to "self-lock" the account from the steamguard notifier email. Hopefully that means the bad guy is frozen out too, even if I still am until Valve helps me.
EDIT2: Nevermind got my account back... Valve was quick about it. I now have the mobile authenticator going. Unfortunately in the meantime, the thief got me permabanned from PUBG. -_-

Only 522 people playing Infinite right now on Steam and game has 65% mixed reviews.

That is like LawBreakers levels of bomba.

Apparently Koei Tecmo's website lets ANYONE comment on the support ticket, and everyone who does it is automatically assumed to be the original poster of the support ticket, so everyone commenting on KT's awful announcement of 720p 2D art assets is all showing as the same person.

Just what kind of programmers does KT have?

Well considering it looks like doodoo, no surprises. SFV left a terrible taste in a lot mouths and Capcom is no longer the king of fighters (heh).

I know I didn't buy it because, why bother? UMVC3 has a bigger and better roster without Denuvo. And Vergil.

Capcom really can't make a good decision, in my opinion. First, why everything needs a season pass? The answer is simple, to milk money, but at least launch the game first, than do a season pass IF the game sells well, instead of cutting contents in order to sell them apart. And Capcom is doing this from ages, now, rarely they can provide good dlcs (the last one was the RE5 one, in my opinion, RE7 dlcs were terrible in a game with lack of modes and very very short). Plus, the base game is 50€, the pass is only 20€ less...why?

Because triple As gotta do what triple As gotta do. Just ask "We Happy Few".

The Steam equivalent of the drunk friend who keeps offering to pay your tab all night.
so how is MVCI in steam

game iself is great, population is in the hundreds (lol) so you best have buddies to play with (which, granted, if you want to play fighting games, is easy to find on gaf).

In addition:

Ace Attorney stuck on mobile and (3)ds
Monster Hunter barely making it to PC (and not even with a date)
Dead Rising sucks ass now (let's get even crazier! Make it more whacky! Hahaha zany humor!!)
Devil May Cry 5 is in limbo
Every one of their remasters is better than anything they've made in the last like 5 years

Capcom is sinking quickly, better hope Monster Hunter is a success. A damn shame but at least we'll get most of their classics on PC through their struggles.

Man, that thing with Blue Reflection... Hopefully there's some miscommunication, otherwise, that's just trolling.
I wouldn't count on it being miscommunication, Atelier Sophie and Firis also use lower resolution 2D assets on PC than on PS4 (with Firis also having some worse and/or missing effects as well).

That's great to see. I'm very happy about the new campaign having objectives that aren't just 'occupy/raze X settlements' as that led to each of the original TW:Warhammer races feeling a bit samey on the campaign map.

Might just have to buy this and go full Dark Elf Cult of Slaanesh.

I thought Marvel was starting to go out of their way to make sure all of their games quality will be up to par, especially after those Marvel Ultimate Alliance ports. With Infinite, it seems they never bothered to tell Capcom "Hey, maybe this needs more polish time."
