You are using someones goods, services, and refusing to compensate them, you don't even believe you should, you believe you are entitled to what they provide, you love consuming it yet... no support. Yeah thats the soapland. I'm not rich just ballin on a budget so even their 90 minute ¥40,000 ($355) plus $100 foreigners fee to enter is too steep for me. Got lucky my friend knows some people so they waived the foreingers fee.
I only intended on going once for the experience but my buddy wanted to go one more time the day before we left. Ended up looking for a place with no gaijin tax that was cheaper, i think it was like $230 for 90 minutes. That's how we ended up at Trendy's soapland in Yoshiwara. We stayed in Asakusa so we just walked there. If all goes to plan we're going back in April. Not gonna lie I'm kinda interested in the ones you visited for future refrence.
I got one there in Yoshiwara by a chinese pilot i knew playing pool lol.
The one i visit is: Darling Harbour this one dont have foreigner tax, and i saw regulars negotiate the price.
But as you know on that area there are 3 every street.
I'm planing to visit other ones ... but you know when you have a good experience, is difficult to change.

Yeah the closer we got to Yoshiwara the less people we saw and of course anyone that we bumped into knew why we were there lol. Funny enough we almost went to Darling harbour. Who ever runs trendy's also runs like 4 or 5 other soaplands right down the road. If you google dream7000 you can see the others. They gave us a ride in a van down the road to one of their other clubs because that's where the girls we picked where at.
The whole experience was interesting for sure, from all the door guys asking us if we "liked pretty girls?" to the older Japanese guy saying "Ok it's fun time, go play". Also had a surprisingly good conversation with the girl through hand jestures and my limited Japanese and her little English. Found out half way through she had a boyfriend and he didin't know about her side thing.....
Knowing my friend is coming along for our next trip means where pretty much certainly going back.

That's the one reason I agreed to go to the soapland. I'd seen the videos for years, I wasn't gonna mention it at all to my buddy but then he brought it up and said I know a guy..... I just wanted to check out the 1/1 Gundam and temples and museums. I'll tell you now it goes pretty much exactly like the jav videos go.
I'm 25 and said fuck it lets go before I'm super old and then its just weird and have no excuse. No idea on the Yakuza involvement. Everyone we intracted with was wearing a suit though. Also asked the girls how the whole thing worked. They told me they just rent the room mothly and they bring their own supplies and keep whatever they make. For the most part the girls who work there are working there because of the quick cash or to pay for school. They also had the last say on if they wanted to see us or not.
