Where are people getting the idea that this is a Team Destiny game? As much as I much prefer Team Destiny over Team Symphonia, I actually don't want them to stop making 2D Tales, but at the same time it gives me great hope for a 3D battle system that is on par with the 2D ones.

All you need to know about Tales games (i.e the ones done by the Tales Studio teams) is that they're worth your time.

I just read that review.... whoever wrote that knows the franchise yet I know little to NOTHING about it. Obviously I am not the only one on the internet who likes Lightning enough to use it as a username...

Obvious Nintendo has publishing rights to FF4 in NA because they published it in Japan.
Otherwise, they're not going to go after NA/EU publishing rights and then go "nope, we decided no to so that you can't as well".

But E3 hasn't come and gone yet, so we'll see I guess.
