oh hell yeah! i love the turtles games and TiT (lol) was one of the best iirc. there has been a long drought when it comes to brawlers so this cannot arrive soon enough

Other than that however this is awesome news, hopefully it doesn't take too long for release, or to at least find out when it will be released!

Tokka and Rahzar were the "Skull and Crossbones" bosses in the arcade version.


I guess this means its based on the arcade version, which also means no Technodrome. That sucks. : (

* It has the same music as the old game.
* Only the levels "Alleycat Blues" and "Skull and Crossbones" were playable.
* The only difference noticed was the bosses for the "Skull and Crossbones" is Tokka and Rahzar (unlike the original, which had Bebop and Rocksteady).
* For Alleycat Blues the boss is still Metalhead.
* The game is basically Turtles in Time with new graphics - Awesome!

O' glory days, if we can finally play 4 play co-op in a turtles game. And the best one too boot.

This is a good idea and more publishers that like money should think about remakes like this. In this economy, it's a smart, safe decision to green light a project like this.

PLEASE BE REAL!

Technodrome and Krang better be in this. THEY BETTER BE IN. OR I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU. Also no PSN version is disappointing. Between this and Lost Planet 2 I am going to have to find a way to get a 1 year Live Gold sub for free :/

There are beat 'em ups with better overall gameplay design, but I can't think of any with better presentation. This game doesn't stop being fun, ever.

I would prefer a remake using high res textures (am I the only one that think the graphics are not very good? maybe if they outline the characters...), but hyped about this =P.

Will wait to see it in motion.

holy shit. this is completely random. i never thought Turtles in Time was big enough for a full-on remake all these years later, i would think if they remade a Turtles brawler it'd be the original TMNT arcade game. that's probably the most popular one.

but either way... fuck yes.

...Not so sure on the new version tho, another call to include the original. >_>

I hope they add some new levels to extend the experience- like those deleted scenes from "The Maw".

I wouldn't mind if they tweaked the levels/enemies a bit as well. It is kinda hard to be a purist when they are already doing a complete graphical overhaul. :lol

Looking at it now, yeah Tokka and Rahzar are in the Arcade version. The Arcade version didn't have "Sewer Surfing" or "Technodrome: Let's Kick Shell!" levels.

I hated the sewer surfing anyway, so I'll only miss the Technodrome.

:lol :lol I still have the cassette, VHS, and my ticket stub from the TMNT: Coming Out of Our Shells Tour.

4 player co-op online would be the best fuckin thing ever.

i kind of doubt it'll ever go to wii due to the file size of the game. Capcom recently stated they couldn't release Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for Wii due to filesize restrictions.
