well the real issues could have not been shown for lack of time, like real dungeons and more enemy variety..From the looks of it they didn't fix any problems people had with the first game so far.
Only added more features and padding.
unless this means they have some cave systems so complex you wish you would have something like this as a way to quick exit from them?Ascend feels more like hacks than a good feature, kind of kills some of the exploration by just automating it, kill a little bit of the fun.
Dude if you remove that the game will really look fucking awful, that's the "Vaseline on lens" filter Nintendo has chosen and incorporated into their art style to make the thing look like it does.whats up with the ugly brown faded filter? the colors dont pop...they need to remove that filter from the game
Wow, that's awesome, here in Canada we get truly fucked with those stupid coupons, it only results in a $10 saving here.Managed to get it with a reduced priced Nintendo voucher for about £34 so I'm not complaining...
I might when I play the game though... Ubisoft of the Wild becomes Ubisoft of the Kingdom, let's see if attempt 2 can win me over.
What an obscene thing to say. I make my girlfriend dress up as Tingle every time we fuck.I'm the biggest Zelda fan on this forum, and I absolutely loved botw, but this game just looks disappointing. I don't really care about the crafting stuff, and I honestly can't describe just how much I hate that they are re-using the same map from the first game.
Why do you care so much about what other people think?Hater taters are out in full force already, yay. To those saying this isn't enough of an upgrade, remember MM? This is pretty much exactly like OoT to MM.
And to those saying this isn't worth $70, if this game isn't, no game ever made is.
I mean its not out yet and I got it for £32 so it's certainly not worth paying almost double for if you have the point to spend. And to those saying this isn't worth $70, if this game isn't, no game ever made is.

34 turns to 57.10CAD and even using the tickets thing it turns into $70CAD. The game's MSRP in Canada is $90CAD and that turns into $103CAD with tax from most provinces.
If your idea of "fixing" means "removing" then, no. They didn't "fix them".From the looks of it they didn't fix any problems people had with the first game so far.
No way to know that until it's actually out.And to those saying this isn't worth $70, if this game isn't, no game ever made is.
Nintendo being Nintendo, seems like they‘ve never read any opinions of their fanbase regarding their shitty weapon durability or stamina mechanic.
*freeze frame* *record scratch* yep, that's me...you're probably wondering how i got here...
Adding to what was already the greatest game ever made? It's a forgone conclusion at this point. No way to know that until it's actually out.
Looking forward to buying this and playing it on Steam Deck with mods like increased weapon durability/no break. How is it so fucking ugly?
Also the shitty weapon breaking is back.
Cool. I pre-ordered a few days before they announced $70, so I get $10 off being very lucky!I mean its not out yet and I got it for £32 so it's certainly not worth paying almost double for if you have the point to spend.

And I used 4 games worth of gold points which knocked 20 quid off the price of the voucher. Boom £32 zelda.
For us in the UK games are £50, the voucher for two are £84 so that's £16 saving, but Zelda is £60 because its special... so if you use a voucher for it, its a £26 saving. Then for every digital game you buy you get 5% of its price in gold coins, so buy 4 games that's £20 off, which I used for the voucher. So that's a £46 saving spread across Metriod Dread and Zelda.
You do realize that "I own it so I can get a copy of it" isn't a real legal thing and just some stupid myth that people have created to make themselves feel OK with ROMS right?Looking forward to buying this and playing it on Steam Deck with mods like increased weapon durability/no break.
you can ascend through any ceiling they saidAre the sky islands replacing the shrines? Can you ascend just at fixed locations or through every ceiling? Can’t watch with sound now.
Looks like they will be very selective with it, they will only allow you to use it where they want you to, you can't conjure it out of nothing. The ascend stuff looks game breaking but I am sure it isn't.
Oh no, your weapon broke. Oh no, your weapon broke again.
Fuse system looks neat at least.

The day a game's visuals make me not play it is the day I quit gaming altogether. If I want pretty graphics, I go to a museum, or go outside and touch grass. It's funny to me that people are ok with Wii U-level visuals in 2023. It's even funnier that some *defend* it like it was some sort of artistic choice. You could literally cut bread with these jaggies.
But in your own explaination you see, that the proof of purchase doesn't matter. It is... with one key caveat that most users miss, the image your using to play must be taken from the physical copy you own.
Essentially if you go online and download someone else's copy of a ROM... yep that's 100% illegal, however it would require the licence holder to effectively prove that the copy you own is not the same image you are using to play. Now Nintendo would need to prove this beyond reasonable doubt and their certainly are ways, but when someone owns a physical copy of the game at the time it becomes astronomically harder to do, and why do it? The guy bought your game go after someone who didn't even do that, it's far more productive.
Glad I'll be playing this emulated, but I weep for people playing this on an actual switch.
they read it of course.Nintendo being Nintendo, seems like they‘ve never read any opinions of their fanbase regarding their shitty weapon durability or stamina mechanic. Looks like an expansion. It‘s my most wanted game this year but it feels like it‘s going to be skyward sword all over again. Looks like BotW with an additional 100hrs bloat.
It's true, there's never been a sequel in the history of videogames that failed to live up to its predecessor.Adding to what was already the greatest game ever made? It's a forgone conclusion at this point.
Could just be that people didn't care for it.If people manage to miss the Pacific Ocean of weapons that Breath of the Wild throws at you, and you still bitch about weapon durability, you're playing the game wrong.

loooooooooooool you like gameplayThe day a game's visuals make me not play it is the day I quit gaming altogether. If I want pretty graphics, I go to a museum, or go outside and touch grass.
I'm here for the gameplay. And Breath of the Wild was superb in that department. The fact that the sequel is expanding on that is already a win in my book.
Jaggies? I don't care.
Blurry textures? I don't care.
It's in 720p? I don't care.
I think it looks pretty. That's all I care.
