Well, since its debut in the early '00s, it's fostered an extra bit of healthy competition in the previously rather Sony- and Nintendo-dominated console market, so I'd say yes, variety is always a good thing

So blarg has the Xbox...I think?
We haven't heard from the other contestants yet, but I'm more inclined to believe that blarg is telling the truth since lying about getting an item would just lead to a thunderdome situation. I am curious though...how important are the items in this game? Are they just helpful tools for scum hunting, or could they possibly be the replacement for the traditional power roles?
I might be over thinking this but since items are integral to the price is right, I think they might be the same for this game.

Diversity is good, I'd agree.
If all the prizes are useful, even somewhat, that should tone down the power roles somewhat I feel.

I know, I meant the people who actually bid against blarg for the xbox. Although if you want to be technical, everyone in the studio audience who has a name tag is a constant on the price is right.

Scum team is going to target power roles, he just made himself their number one target.
He either has some sort of immunity protecting him from being NK, or he's part of the scum team and knows he doesn't have to worry about it.
