that escalated quickly.gif
I completely missed the events from Friday until Sunday afternoon and came back to a big mess... had to read up on the whole thing in different other sites and get some intel first before understanding what happened.
I had been a lurker, then a member on NEOGAF for over 10 years now, and it saddens me to see the site in the state it is now. all the exodus, the bans and abandons; the harsh, thou sometimes well warranted criticism; and most importantly, the (hopefully temporary) lost of OT. I met EL once before and in all honesty, I feel that he doesnt seem like that kinda guy with the impression I got from him. but then again, Im a guy meeting him in a public place with lots of other people, so who knows? I did read some of the older comments EL made and also some of the reports on what started this whole incident. EL definitely seems to be in the blame hereone way or the other, but I feel that people are a little too focus on that blame right now. like him or not he had done a lot for the community and this whole thing feels a little more like something that the 2 of them had already resolved and came to terms while the rest of the internet is just digging up new dirt on both of them and trying to stir up trouble. it is just my opinion after all but Im not abandoning NEOGAF and Ill still be around.
ps: and the mods have my full support right now. they have a very tough job and often being treated rather unfairly, especially in time of crisis.
