Nice! I really need to check this out when I get home. Hopefully it'll be up on YouTube or something in its entirety.

I like a lot of The Hip's stuff, and have been lucky to see them live more than once.

The band just announced that they'll be broadcasting the final show from Kingston, Ontario on CBC. I was super lucky to get tickets for that show. It'll be my first Hip show despite living in Kingston for many years. I'm really excited about it.

The album is out now in stores and on streaming services and it's really good.

Had the album on repeat all day. It's really good, you guys. It's on all the major streaming services. Why isn't anyone else talking about it?

Hot Mic is so fucking good.

Scalping used to be illegal in Ontario, until ticketmaster and Co. lobbied the gov't. It's extra gross since the scalpers are taking advantage of Gord's cancer. I'm really happy that the CBC is broadcasting/streaming the final show.

Fuck cancer and fuck scalpers.

Good as in pre-2000 Hip good, or just good as everything they have put out this century? I honestly haven't been a fan of their work the last 15 years or so.

yeah pre-sale - guess the scalpers went for Toronto and Kingston first so I lucked out.

I forgot to listen to this, and need to do so today or this week.

I liked their last couple of albums, so hopefully I will like this one, too.

Absolutely amazing. Gord was on fire the whole night and didn't let up. Amazing energy - recorded the whole thing on my phone audio only (they let you do this!)

Amazing! I can't wait for the Kingston show. The whole country will be watching. I still can't believe I managed to get floor tickets. I log in to Ticketmaster every so often just to make sure I'm not dreaming.
