Just played a match on Angel City where the ground textures and most of the building textures didn't load, most everything just a light blue color. Strange but kind of cool. Anybody see this before?

No, but I just played a round on it where my framerate tanked whenever I looked at the outsides of the map but went back up to 60 when looking at the middle... It doesn't make any sense. :/

Normally I suck at capture the flag but I just had a great moment where I took the other team's flag without my titan nearby. I immediately get shot at and am like one more shot from death until I see a friendly Titan nearby and jumped up to it in desperation. Like a total champ this guy escorts me to our flag for me to get the easy capture.

I just bought the artbook and also the Final Hours of Titanfall, I am officially hooked on this game. 30 hrs in or so and it is the most fun I've had playing a FPS since COD:MW.

I've spent 3 days and ~10 hours playing this game, so it's safe to say that this has become one of my favorite FPS games. Great job, Respawn! I'm also not feeling like this game will become "cheap" like CoD games eventually felt (spawn kills, unfair one-hit shots) as, for the most part, all of that has been kept to a minimum.

Finally had a good game for once! I was camping "B" like a mofo with an amped shotgun and after a while realized, "I need to screenshot while I'm doing well before I die and it goes downhill". I also had 2 titan kills in B. I finally died when I ran out of ammo for my shotgun, which I've never had happen. I didn't even know you could run out of ammo. We lost the game sadly, because no one could capture A or C while I was keeping B controlled. I also took down 2 titans.

You could've entered and exited your titan to restock your ammo and ordnance.

I agree, it is pretty great (and I say that as somebody who wasn't particularly hyped for the game). The fluidity of movement and the parkour stuff is just so cool.

There is a quick warp thing for Titans if I remember correctly. Check your loadout. Could be that.

You're hitting the bug that I have been hitting for a few weeks now. The game is taking too long to load so you're starting in the middle of the match.

Is there a problem with the XO matchmaking? Waiting for ages with the zero opponent message appearing. Eventually I got into a game which 20secs later finished and it was back to square one.

Found it all frustrating.

What match type are you trying? Hard point seems to be dying a death on the PC (not helped by the ridiculous leaning towards all-out attack). Attrition always seems fine for me.

A lot of people who have complained about the game used the tired-old "it's just COD with mechs" reason behind not liking it.

Play it 'like COD' and it will feel like it I suppose. But play the game to its strengths opens up so much. Like you say the game is fast and fluid.

I would love to run around the maps on my own just to enjoy the movement, height and speed.

Yeah, PC as well. Played for 2 days on wireless with no troubles, but last night was horrid. Hopefully it'll sort itself out though because I can't go wired . Feeling a little better now that I know it's not my fault. Tried everything. Ports, switching data centers, hardware reboots, etc.

Picked this up for PC yesterday and played through one side of the "campaign" and then a few more matches. Had fun overall but it kinda sucks that it took 15+ minutes to even find a game for campaign and when I did I played through one whole side plus some extras and never won a single match all night (13 games) which was a bummer. The gameplay is fun but so far i keep finding myself losing track of whats going on because everyone looks very similar, I'm sure I'll get used to that though Navigating menus feels like a chore and everything just loads so slowly even on an ssd. I'm liking what I've played so far but a lot of it feels very rushed and thin. Hopefully The difficulty finding games isn't an ongoing thing.

Ah didn't know it is possible to absorb damage with the bubble shield. For my case, it is often instant death as it just fall right on top of my own titan.

For the app, oddly the only video I can play is the Worker Base R1 video. Other videos is totally unplayable (those that need you to tap/click on it to play in fullscreen although I not sure how the UI works on PC).

PC. I am using Tridef 3D with an Nvidia card. 3D is amazing! The cockpit and all the gadgets all have depth to them. Watching myself eject is hella cool!

7 more brain surgeon to go. Curious question: Does each type of Titan have different life bar? I felt like destroying an Ogre for the brain surgeon challenge takes slightly longer than Atlas or Stryder.

Maybe it is just me but still much better than Gooser challenge.

Yeah, thats kind of the point of the different titans. The Stryder is fast with low health while the Ogre is slow with a lot of health.

Atlas: 8000 health
Ogre: 10500 health
Stryder: 5500 health

Just as I guessed, regened to 4 last night and started the challenges. Quad rocket is so much fun to use. It's pretty useless at a distance though or when trying to take out pilots camping in high places without a wall behind them to hit.

The gun challenges this regen suck though. The DMR (and semi-auto weapons in general) need a buff. It's clip is too small and it's recoil is too much for targets that move around as much as pilots do. The auto-45 isn't that bad though, not great like MW2/BO2's G18/Kard but you win up close more often than you lose.

Any tips on the charge rifle though? It's actually my favorite Titan weapon so I use it exclusively as soon as I unlock it + I like to think I actually try to help out teammates with titans but I only got to tier 3 on critical hits with it last regen...

For the charge rifle use arc grenades with the explosives pack. 2 arc grenades brings the Titan shield down making for an easy hit. Stick to rooftops and cloak often.

I'm Generation 7 finally. I'm starting to feel like I'm so close to Gen 10. Since my Gen 10 achievement unlocked early, I'm definitely making sure I get to Gen 10 so I've earned it! Then I'll work on the unlock everything achievement and I'll just get lucky with I Killed 'Em All hopefully.

Finished all my gen 5 requirements except for the gooser. Managed to get one so far. Those things are rage inducing to me. I think I cussed at my TV more in the last 24 hours than ever before. I'm done with the arc cannon and switching to the machine gun to try to get the other 4. It's so frustrating to see the pilot eject, shoot them and not get the kill!
