The duo that is Twenty One Pilots - Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun - has earned widespread applause for their energetic live sets and distinctive fusion of piano-driven schizoid pop and lyrical uplift. This album is soooo good. I'm always a little afraid to hear a band's follow-up album after an amazing one (and Vessel was amazing). I try to go in with no expectations and an open mind, but it's hard to not compare at least subconsciously. That being said, I love every single song off Blurryface. I don't listen to music much anymore. I honestly roll my eyes when I hear most lyrics nowadays. These guys are true artists though, and Tyler has something to say (or at least get out of his head and off his chest)

I really wish they would put out their solo album digitally. I want a digital version of Forest.

At first I wasn't sure this was better than Vessels, but after spending a solid week with it, Blurryface is their best album yet. I can't wait to hear them play it live. If you haven't seen one of their shows—hurry up and do so. They are one of the best live acts out there.

I didn't like this at first, especially compared to Vessel, but now months later I really like it though it maybe drags a bit in the middle. The diversity of the songs probably was the major hurdle.

I think it was "Fairly Local" that eventually overpowered me and opened up the entire thing.
