Glad you liked them! They can be hard to get into even more so this album cause it's from a pretty emotional place for them.

This album is soooo good. I'm always a little afraid to hear a band's follow-up album after an amazing one (and Vessel was amazing). I try to go in with no expectations and an open mind, but it's hard to not compare at least subconsciously. That being said, I love every single song off Blurryface. I don't listen to music much anymore. I honestly roll my eyes when I hear most lyrics nowadays. These guys are true artists though, and Tyler has something to say (or at least get out of his head and off his chest)

I really wish they would put out their solo album digitally. I want a digital version of Forest.

Sweet! Fairly Local and Stressed Out are some of my new favorite songs.

Check out Ride and Goner as well. Really solid in my book and fits the feelings they are putting in this album.

Thanks for the thread. Never heard of the guys, and was totally judging them til I hit play on that first youtube video. Ended up getting all their stuff on Google Play. Like a harder Gym Class Heroes, at times anyways.

Didn't know they were releasing a new album. I loved the last one and listen to it all the time. Definitely going to give this a listen today.

At first I wasn't sure this was better than Vessels, but after spending a solid week with it, Blurryface is their best album yet. I can't wait to hear them play it live. If you haven't seen one of their shows—hurry up and do so. They are one of the best live acts out there.

Currently my favorite band and congratulations to them for topping the billboard charts. Amazing to see how much love they are getting. Going to see them twice later this year.
Although vessel was my first album of theirs and will always be dear to me, I think this album is overall better.

I didn't like this at first, especially compared to Vessel, but now months later I really like it though it maybe drags a bit in the middle. The diversity of the songs probably was the major hurdle.

I think it was "Fairly Local" that eventually overpowered me and opened up the entire thing.
