Saying a lot of "basically dead" and "instant kill". Hope he's just exaggerating. Otherwise I'm stoked, TM is one of my favorite series of all time and TMB is my favorite PS2 game.

I'm probably about a million times more interested now after those videos. Looks like a lot of fun to play. Teamwork looks like it will be extremely useful this go-around.

day 1 for me but id like it to be a little more polished. it looks like a spam fest online but then again i think it always was a spam fest D:

my posts are "MEH"
It sucks that most of the original characters aren't in. How can you have the Axel car but not the character? Day 1 still

I was excited for Twisted Metal before watching these videos, but now I'm really excited! This next year is a good time for open world, vehicular combat oriented games on the PS3.

I can't wait to see more next week.

Something about every Twisted Metal video just screams that this is going to be a great time online. Just imagining the crazy rolling shootouts, and chases through the map...so good.

Just finished watching the videos. Gotta say this game just looks FUN. All the different ways you can team up with other people on your team, the brisk gameplay, the destruction, teh special weapons...all awesome.

DAY 1 SON!

I only watched the first and stopped. It looked way too good to spoil.

All those cool abilities looked balanced and outrageous, I really can't wait for this.

Reminds me of Warhawk a lot but it really looks great and it's appreciated in a current gen world of FPS and action games only.

I hope it does well in reviews.

Oh wow, I really love all of the in-depth co-op mechanics. I wish more titles would head down that route. Good stuff, thus far.

From the sound of things, Axel is in the game...if you pre-order. Hopefully that's just for early access and you can unlock him normally.
EDIT: After watching again, it seems to just be the vehicle. That really sucks if it's exclusive.

Looks fucking awesome.

I will hunt down masses of PS3s gamers and skin them alive if this sells poorly
and is recognized as a solid game when released.

I love the lack of "realism." A lot of developers should take note that realism is rarely fun but throwing hospital patients with bombs strapped on always is.

Wow, after the visual upgrades and more explanation of the gameplay this has gone up a quite a notches in my must haves. The game is gorgeous looking, runs smooth and looks fun as ever.

I fucking love the dragging of the chainsaw move.

Jaffe's understanding of game design, especially in regard to the franchise, is just awesome. He gets it.

I hope we get to see a lot of this at E3. I'm still waiting to see Spectre, Jaffe.

From watching less than half that first vid I'm sold. Good, clean, simple fun. Well, not clean but you know what I mean.

y'all should be ashamed
Violent Oreo Cookie. Sold!

Amazing vids. Thank gawd, I thought we weren't allowed to have a crazy, completely unrealistic dose of fun these days.

My God these videos are just too awesome. I was sold waaaaayyy before the game was announced. I'm really excited to see the remaining vehicles. I'm not too sure what they might add, but I'll stay pray for a Thumper-like vehicle since I loved him to death in TM2.

Wish this was multi-platform (PC too), Twisted Metal is one of my all time favorite franchises, but I don't wanna buy another console to play it. Dammit

Looks really good, hopefully it turns out great and does well.

The videos were so amazing. I can't wait to finally have a new console TM after a decade of waiting.

I think this game is going to bring in a bunch of news fans and breathe some life into a franchise which looked like it might fizzle out.

I still feel that it lacks the "charm" due to the lack of the drivers.

I interpret is like this - Bender is the breakout character from Futurama, which has been down for many years. They then revive the series... but only with Bender in it.

I'd watch that.

It doesn't sound like it'll be easy to get those to work though. Jaffe noted that with Death Warrant you'd need to charge its special to Level 3 and then you'd need to land all of those missiles to kill your opponent. So it's not like hitting someone with a sniper shot in a FPS. Plus there's this

It takes a fair few hits before a player is destroyed, so risk-taking and experimentation are encouraged. There's sufficient warning that your health is low, but if an opponent spies your empty health bar, you'll be under severe pressure to make it to a health pickup in time.

It's more like Cleveland was a support character in Family Guy, then they give him his own show.

I want the drivers :C

Goddamnit people! XD

Well anyway, it proves my point - we have a rich ensemble of drivers and yet we simply keep it on the breakout/edgy characters

The guy doing the move will have to be a dead aim, and the person being attack will have to be out chased or have no defense up. In fighting games there are combos that take off a huge amount of damage, but it'll take skill and a opening to pull it off. With this you would have chased the person down, lined up the shot just right, or baited the opponent into getting close enough to you. Know your enemy.
