It was the Obélix that tipped it over to amazing. Though that blue notes make him look a bit fat.

Well, someone involved appears to be an 8-bit computer fan rather than all this console stuff; I'm pretty sure that Batman in the very first picture is the slightly overweight Batman from the isometric 3D platformer by Jon Ritman & Bernie Drummond. Here's hoping Head and Heels put in an appearance!

When I was working in the Ubisoft Quebec studio, there was something similar going on with a building across Charest Boulevard that was populated with various artists and an art gallery. It didn't quite get to those lengths exactly, but there were definitely pixelblock characters, post-it notes and fake snow put to good use.

Now it's really getting kind of absurd. I went past my university today and saw a Super Mario star in one of the windows...I wonder who did it and who's office it is...maybe I'll go up there and take a look next week :D

If anyone is still interested, students at our University in Hamburg (Germany) are working on a website about post-it war. The adress is www.postitwar.org.

Already a few nice reads about post-it war at companies and other creative or funny usage of post-it art: http://postitwar.org/aktuelles/

PS: I am really impressed by the third stop-motion video, awesome stuff :D
