I haven't played WD2 yet, but I heard this on PS I Love You XOXO this week and thought it was interesting. I searched through thread titles for something to this effect but didn't see anything - get meta on me if old.
In what I ascertain to be the leadup to the mission in which Marcus steals the trailer for that weird sci-fi game (which Kotaku has since learned is apparently real and codenamed Pioneer http://kotaku.com/sources-ubisofts-watch-dogs-2-teaser-is-a-real-sci-fi-1788999298 ), Marcus hacks into the phone of a character who happens to work for Ubisoft. This is the transcript of their conversation:
Of course, for those unaware, Osiris was allegedly the rumored codename for an Ancient Egypt-set Prince of Persia game, which is believed to have at some point become Empire, an Assassin's Creed game, which will reportedly come out in 2017 and mark the beginning of a new AC trilogy set place in ancient times. This would just be further confirmation for the Kotaku report from early this year, which stated that next year's AC game would be set in Egypt:

What do you think, Gaf? Does this finally confirm it? Is it truly impossible for Ubisoft to keep AC games a secret?
PS: I tried and failed to find that purported screenshot from an early dev build of Osiris. Can someone post it in the thread? I'll edit it back into this post. Thanks!
EDIT: Here it is
Update: Gaf's resident Press Sneak Fuck weighs in:

Char 2: Can you? Can you assure me? After what happened with Unity, Syndicate, Osiris -
