Why? Did they get charged but not receive Gold despite contacting the admins? If so, that's the first I've heard of it.

Other than that my point still stands. If the downtime was measured in a week or more a year, sure I'd see good reason for being pissed off. It's not though, is it.

Wouldn't you agree that it would be nice to have a info on why a paid service is down and when it's expected to go back online? It doesn't matter if it's an hour, half a day, a day or a week. It's a matter of principle.

To be fair, there was a banner message at the top of the page saying the site would be down for 12 hours. The banner was there long before the site went down.

It's personal, but I don't really care if it's for a short amount of time. Not that I pay for Gold, but if say, Amazon Prime Video was down for a few days a year, I'd hardly be screaming at them.

I've seen the banner. It was placed there the same day. Not everyone is logging in every day, like you or me. But yeah, we can maybe discuss it further if system admin (I'm not sure who that is) is interested in setting up a back-up page for the future.

I saw people doing really worst posting here and tend to either don't get banned or get a week ban. Insults like bring your mother to table when sometimes your parents are not in good shape. I still think the permaban to Fuz was a bit harsh.

Yeah, temporary ban make users cool down a bit if they're having a bad day or just fall into baits.

Again, as Pejo mention, they just did the wrong joke in the wrong time. Was unfortune. I used to be mod in many games forums BTW. I remember just doing permabans when users pushed their luck posting porn or extreme violent pictures.

I've said worse things and Im far more of an asshole than them and still got warning/month ban. Cmon EviLore , they really dont deserve perm...no one deserves perm unless they spam absolute hateful illegal shit...

IMO The dumbass remark is uncalled for even when you’re joking. I hated it when people did that to me, especially when they call me “buddy”. I don’t do that to people. If I call someone that, it’s never going to get the same reaction. It doesn’t fit my character.

We all know Evilore runs the site and makes the rules but I don't think there's anything wrong with the community voicing their opinion when they think a punishment was overkill (as long as everyone is respectful about it). Everyone has bad days and mercy is not weakness, imho.
