I don't have a clue myself, just wanna see what GAF thinks. Nintendo have been very careful about adding non-Mario characters into the game so I have to imagine that they'll be some characters from Mario, but I can't think who. Perhaps they'll be some new characters from Super Mario Wonder? I would like Samus or Captain Falcon, but again, I doubt we're going to see any non-Mario characters.

Just finished playing the new tracks with my wife and there are some classics in there. I'm really happy with how the DLC has gone so far; very impressed with how they've managed to extend the longevity of this game.

I can see them putting Wart in there. And then Captain Falcon because come on, they even have F-Zero tracks in the damn game.
