First, that is incredibly speculative and seems like a blatant attempt to mislead people. Second, every AAA game studio ever is constantly hiring people. Just because they hire a new person doesn't mean it's going to take an additional 6 months or whatever to make the game. That's ridiculous.

I think if a delay were likely they wouldn't have announced 2015 as a definitive launch date.
I mean, I get when a game is announced 2 years in advance and towards the end they notice they need a few more months, but when you're one year away I think you should be able to see whether you'll be able to make it or not.
And if there is any legitimate doubt you shouldn't announce a date.

Uncharted 4 is a huge game for Sony this holiday. Its will be their biggest release for a while I'm sure. Its as important as Halo is to MS. I don't see them delaying it unless it is absolutely necessary.
It was a short delay but they did delay TLOU. Hopefully Sony have the balls to delay U4 if they need it. Since Sony treat ND like kings I think they will do whatever ND wants.

Some of us just assume console agnosticism unless otherwise stated I guess. It's cheaper than ever to have all 3 consoles and a PC... ^_^;

They claimed the first video was in-game, then the trailer came out and looked nothing like it. They're a gaming company that needs to market, they all bullshit. Delaying it isn't this magical thing that won't happen because they said one thing. We've had developers release totally broken games in the past year and claim it worked a week before.
No, it's because it doesn't have a real release date nailed down. It also means that anyone who pre-ordered it in the US will get a refund once a real date is given if that new date doesn't fall within 30 days of December 31st. I look forward to that happening so that I can get a full refund and then pre-order the game again when another "spend 100 get 15 back" deal hits.
It's either ND still have half of UN4 unfinished or they're assembling a team for another project. For real this is a lot of jobs to ask for an established team

None of those listings actually say they're for the UC4 team- in fact, the ICE team positions are almost certainly not, since to my knowledge the ICE team is focused on helping out third parties with optimizing for the PS4, not actually working on ND games. I'm pretty sure they're just hashtagged Uncharted 4 to increase visibility.
It's much more likely that these hires are for the game that the other team is working on (most likely TLoU2.)

I remember reading a year or two ago that Naughty Dog was hesitant to announce any release window for Uncharted 4 because of how disappointed they were in themselves when they had to delay the Last of Us.
I'd imagine the current window is pretty firm.

ND never delays a game am i right? I dont remember any Uncharted or TLOU getting pushed back. Their history(if my memory is right) is they always ship on time.

If this is true then maybe this is why she has been fired from ND. How can someone actually do something like this?
TLOU was delayed. After U3 ND as publicly said that they rushed to get that game done and they dont want to do it again.

ND is a big company, and just because they are officially hiring for UC4 doesn't mean some of those will be going to another undisclosed project (AKA TLoU 2)
It also seems like multiplayer is being ramped up atm, and they still have a good six months to work on that, so that's not really worrying.
