3. Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker / Wii U / Very charming & enjoyable little game.
4. Gunman Clive 2 / 3DS / Solid (& cheap) platformer.
5. Bayonetta 2 / Wii U / Liked this way more than Bayonetta 1.
6. Muramasa - Demon Blade / Wii / One of the best (& prettiest) Wii games.
7. Zelda - Majoras Mask 3D / 3DS / Still not my favorite Zelda, but great remake.
8. Code Of Princess / 3DS / Boring hack n slash.
9. Metroid Other M / Wii / Not nearly as bad as everyone says it is.
10. Bloodborne / PS4 / Still not Dark Souls 1, but a return to form for From. Sadly barely any focus on PVP & little replay value.
11. Ni No Kuni / PS3 / Pretty graphics, lots of charm, but I didn't like the combat. Also got annoying at the end.
12. Yakuza Dead Souls / PS3 / Worst Yakuza game, but still enjoyable in a way.
(XX. Persona 3 / PS2 / Like this a lot & played it forever, but had to YT the end. No motivation to fight the last boss again.)
13. Metal Gear Solid 5 - Ground Zeroes / PS4 / Promising demo.
14. Super Mario Galaxy 2 / Wii / I think I prefer Galaxy 1, but still fantastic.
15. Yakuza Ishin / PS4 / Story-wise I think Kenzan is better, but it gave a good taste of Yakuza on PS4.
16. Shenmue 1 / Emu / Amazing. Still love it.
17. Shenmue 2 / Emu / Probably the best game(s) I played all year.
18. Metal Gear Solid 1 / PS3 / Still holds up.
19. Metal Gear Solid 2 - Sons Of Liberty / PS3 / Wow, the story. (－‸&#4314 Used to love it back then....
20. Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater / PS3 / Best MGS game.
21. Journey / PS4 / Replayed it cause it was free. Good, but overrated.
22. Zelda - Twilight Princess / Wii / Should have waited for the remake.
23. Parodius: Non-Sense Fantasy / Emu / Wanted to finally play through the Parodius games. Good times.
24. Fantastic Parodius - Pursue the Glory of the Past / Emu / I think this was my favorite of the bunch.
25. Jikkyo Oshaberi Parodius / Emu
26. Sexy Parodius / Emu
27. Legend of the Mystical Ninja / Wii U VC / Really enjoyed this. Bring back the series, Konami!
28. Ganbare Goemon 2: Kiteretsu Shougun Magginesu / Emu / Equally good, but didn't like the mech sections that much.
29. Metal Gear Solid 5 - Phantom Pain / PS4 / At one point I thought this was GOTY. Little did I know...
30. Persona 4 / PS2 / Liked Persona 3 more, story & setting-wise, but got all the endings in this one.
31. Dragon Quest Heroes / PS4 / Sigh. Hated all the defend the root/statue missions. Hyrule Warriors was way better.
32. Project Zero - Maiden Of The Black Water / Wii U / Not scary at all, but great atmosphere.
33. Onimusha Warlords / PS2 / Took me a while to adapt to the tank controls, but then it clicked.
34. Bloodborne Old Hunters DLC / PS4 / The DLC improved the core game even more, but some of those bosses were ridiculous, especially on NG+.
35. Yoshi's Wooly World / Wii U / 100% it with g/f. Best platformer in years.
36. Onimusha 2 - Samurai's Destiny / PS2 / Got a bit silly towards the end, but still liked it.
37. Xenoblade Chronicles X / Wii U / Impressive world to explore, but story & setting-wise it's no Xenoblade 1.

Playing Yakuza 5 now (possible GOTY), as well as Super Mario (Autorun) Maker.

Biggest surprise this year was definitely Rhythm Heaven DS. I picked it up on a whim because it was cheap and I was bored and I never wanted to put it down. Even after completing the game I kept playing it regularly for like a month trying to 100% it, and I did!

Wow, some of you folks really put in some serious game time this year. As for me, I didn't finish hardly anything but still count myself as having had a great year of gaming.

Here's what I finished:

1) Bloodborne (Plat) 9.5 - My first and only Platinum trophy. Stellar game.
2) Destiny: TKK (All missions and strikes cleared and Raid beaten) 9 - Great expansion but I was ready for a break and am enjoying a lot of other things now.
3) Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax (Vita) 8 - Seriously fun and impressive handheld fighting game, gets extra points for being a title for anime fans while also being a competent fighter in its own right.

And that's it! I played tons of Destiny this year and lately I have been putting serious time into The Witcher 3. I'm not exactly sure where I am in terms of % completion but my guess is that I will finish it sometime in January.

Also currently playing Legend of Hereos: Trails of Cold Steel which is so far exceeding my expectations. It's like Tales meets Persona with some very impressive world building and writing.

I forgot, I played Diddy Kong Country this year too. How is Aria of Sorrow compared to Order of Ecclesia?

I never beat Ecclesia, but Aria is a much more traditional Metroidvania experience with just the castle to explore instead of multiple areas. Also I'd say it's a bit easier than Ecclesia. Definitely worth checking out though, good characters and bosses/powers.

The Legend of Dark Witch 3DS 2014 Play Jul-15 Finished Crazy amount of replay value if you're into the game. Plays really well and it's fun.
Ninja Usagimaru 3DS 2015 Play Jul-15 Finished After a rough start, I ended up really liking this. Some brain busting puzzles for sure.
Hazumi 3DS 2014 Either Jul-15 Finished Kind of unpolished/unprofessional looking but it's okay. B-tier game.
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris PS4 2014 Play Aug-15 Finished Lots of fun but too short. Not as good as the first one, but it's still not bad.
Half Minute Hero: The Second Coming PC 2014 Play Aug-15 Finished I loved the first game and I love this. It's more of the same but there's much more to do.
Final Fantasy Portal: Triple Triad iOS 2015 Pass Aug-15 Finished I am torn because TT is incredible but Squeenix fucked it up here. Crystals are shit, grinding is shit.
Hungry Cat Picross Android 2014 Play Aug-15 Finished One of, maybe THE best mobile Picross game I've played. Weekly updates add ridiculous longevity.
Yakuza 4 PS3 2011 Play Aug-15 Finished Great, great game. Incredible story and lot of fun to play. Amazing how many things there are to do in the world.
Xeodrifter PS4 2014 Play Sep-15 Finished Very simple but not a bad little game. Easiest trophies ever, so go for it.
Destiny: The Taken King PS4 2015 Play Sep-15 Finished Amazing. I already loved Destiny and this expansion made me love it even more.
Super Mario Maker Wii U 2015 Play Sep-15 Finished Lots of fun forever. One that I won't play often, but it's got legs.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer 3DS 2015 Pass Sep-15 Finished I don't know what I expected. It's exactly that, and nothing more.
Mighty Gunvolt PC 2014 Pass Oct-15 Finished Poor man's Mega Man that FEELS like it was developed to hold over until Mighty No. 9.
Yoshi's Wooly World Wii U 2015 Play Nov-15 Finished Harder than I expected, but still a cakewalk. Soulless like most of Nintendo's stuff lately.

Hook PC 2015 Either Nov-15 Finished Pretty easy puzzle game. Very short and there's not much to it but it was enjoyable.

Savant-Ascent PC 2013 Either Nov-15 Finished I was ready to write this off but the art is cool and it's fun to play.
Out There Somewhere PC 2014 Either Nov-15 Finished There is a really cool idea with the ship here, but it's not flushed out enough.
Pokemon Picross 3DS 2015 Either Dec-15 Finished I can't recommend this in good faith because the price point is BRUTAL but there really is a ton to do.

I've had probably the worst year ever as far as beaten-to-bought ratios go. I've beaten only 7 games (mostly at the start of the year) vs buying over 250. I've had somewhat of a difficult year, not helped by adding a PS4 and PS Vita to my collection of systems this year.

I hope to sort my shit out in 2016. For real this time.
