CACKLING!

I'll admit fully; I just like the girl in the labcoat because she looks like Shermie. And when I was a kid I had a HUGE thing for Shermie.

It looks like Elf, the creators of the original, are shutting down.
I can't find any source that isn't NSFW so no link.
I guess that's sort of expected since their stuff has been really shitty recently, but its still sad considering how long they've been around. :(

Also the trailer in OP doesn't work anymore.

Elf closing is sad news. However, Yu-No isn't really an elf game, except for the publisher, since it actually is more stylistically like C's Ware titles like EVE: Burst Error or Desire, in fact it's the same writer. Also none of the staff traditionally working on elf titles worked on Yu-No either.

Also, related to elf, last year their subsidiary Silky's also closed down. Then there was an exodus of staff from elf and Silky's which formed Silky's Plus, and they haven't really done much great sadly.

Yeah, it sucks. Both for down there and other things. :^(

At least they got one more game out, in their well liked Maro series. Yeah, it's NTR, but it's probably still one of their better new series.

Honestly wasn't expecting Sakimi to be so likable (top that off with a great design and VA work). I was wondering why there wasn't going to be a 4th edition to the series, only to be hit by the news of ELF disbanding soon. It's a pretty different kind of NTR (or netori?) though, that's for sure. That and the doctor is surprisingly entertaining.

But I digress...

Will definitely try out this remake though, interested in their non-porn side of things.

It's funny they announced their closure on the same day as Maro 3's release. It was definitely intentional though.

Sorry for the bump but I've been wondering; the original game got released on various systems, but which one is the best? If all of them are good, are there any noticeable differences?

PC fan translation is great since it:
a) is in English
b) has voices imported from Saturn version
c) has a patch that increases the music quality from 22kHz to 44kHz. Not ideal for PC-98 soundchip (at least 55466 Hz is needed to not have aliasing), but way better than the original release.

Yep, I agree and did part C as well. Well worth it, although sometimes I would get stuck and couldn't figure out how to progress things. Very good, though, overall.
