You are a girl with a rubbery fishing line that you can use to grapple and swing and slingshot in many physics-based ways. You can catch human-sized fishmonsters and stow them in your backpack. Stages can have multiple solutions and often multiple exits.

I love the level design in the Umihara series - the multiple exits made for speedrunning in particular... but unfortunately I'm terrible at them Could never grasp the grappling mechanic all that well.

I should probably mention that the game is mostly UNPLAYABLE in 3D, as it frequently drops from 30 fps to 15 or even lower. So don't even think about touching the 3D slider when you play the game. It holds 30 fps pretty solidly in 2D, which isn't ideal but doesn't hurt the game too much outside of a few instances where you need split-second timing.

Yeah it was a retail release in Japan, so I'm expecting $30 ala AA5

Well, AA5 and SK kinda set the $30 precedent. Maybe we'll get a Kokuga surprise for $15 but I wouldn't hold my breath.
