I don't think that was me. My only comment about Holyland before was in regards to the first 3 volumes a couple days ago (because that's all that has been published here so far and I received books 2 and 3 this past week~).

Still as exciting as the anime, though listening to the ost while reading it does enhance the feeling and immersion. I remember all these scenes like they happened yesterday, though maybe thats due to rewatching the series four times.
This one is more of an adaptation of the tv series with a few minor added moments (Kuroh and the masked one of the Gold area) or Awashima inquiring about Totsuka in the shop, or Yata in the library, etc.

A bunch of people have labelled Darkness Yami as yandere, but I don't agree. The situation is weird, but they generally don't go from zero to "I'm going to kill you so we can be together forever in my heart." It seems more like she's just a psycho who thinks it's romantic to express love through violence.

...But then who the hell am I kidding.
Then you might as well disregard all of the tsunderes of the '10's. Yandere and tsundere have become a trademark for a kind of behavior, not necessarily just the starting definition of it.

I don't know what happened, but let's remember
the X doesn't mean "I don't like you"/"I hate you", but "for me you are a total stranger, I don't have intention of interacting with you". It's almost if they weren't humans for the mc. He put a X to all his classroom before talking with them, he doesn't know how they are. The endgame here is everyone losing the X thanks to the "healing".
I sort of agree, but just being violent towards a love target encompasses a whole bunch of situations that aren't anything close. The point is the insane, obsessive devotion, not violence. If she were yandere, she'd be more likely to be violent towards all the people around him, rather than immediately trying to kill him. That's if she'd be violent at all.
Edit: In the School Days anime,
the girl who killed the MC wasn't yandere. She was just a spurned lover who the MC treated like shit until she snapped and killed him. The girl who killed the girl who killed the MC and then kept his severed head in a cooler was yandere.

I'd be more worried about the new guy and Kawai, those characters are up to no good. Atleast Ueno is open about her evilness.
And we know what that will lead to.
My god i really hope everything doesn't go as i think... that would be a rollercoaster of emotions that i don't want to handle ;___;
Dunno about Mashiba, seems his only fault so far is being a bit tactless, but I think overall he's just along for the ride. Maybe he'll develop into something more substantial than a tool to draw Kawai into Ishida's group. Dunno if Kawai would really do much of anything "evil," but the way she seems to brush off her interactions with Nishimiya back in elementary school is pretty telling in itself.
I'd guess that Ishida meeting with Shimida might give him some perspective on what it might be like for Nishimiya to suddenly be thrust back into dealing with Ueno/Kawai.

I was on /a/ for some ungodly reason and they were all convinced this is all some grand scheme by everyone just to fuck over Ishida or that it would become an NTR-fest or something and it kind of rubbed off on my opinions on the matter. I'm guessing maybe Sahara and Ueno are teaming up to keep Shouko from being with Ishida? Ueno hates her and maybe Sahara doesn't want to see her being with the guy that bullied her so much back when they were younger. Also I hope Mashiba and Ishida become best bros and he tells him that Kawai is full of it.

I doubt Sahara has any such intentions, as I was under the impression she'd chosen to not hold anything against Ishida since his confession/explanation to her. But who knows. Ueno's basic motives are obvious, but I don't think she and Sahara are working together or anything, at least not by this point. I could see Ueno trying to use Sahara if the opportunity presented itself in some way though.
Same here. Maybe he'll realize Kawai's true nature on his own as he hangs out with Ishida's group more.
EDIT:
Remember that at the end of ch17, Ishida basically explained how he'd bullied Nishimiya, though the implication seemed to be that she wasn't holding anything against him for it.

Well it's more based off the real Masamune so less Yukimura fighting, less motorcycle horses but everyone is still as handsome as handsome can be.
Though, if you want a series that's pretty much focused on BASARA's Masamune, Udon did release this two volume series that primarily focuses on him.

This one just keeps getting better. So many good things this chapter. The whole "I don't know how to talk to an otaku" sequence, Shinozaki getting jealous + her Yuri daydream, her inspiration during the game and her final attack.
