Stretching the images isn't really a subjective complaint though.

Transformers FOC (30 fps because I was struggling to hit the size requirements)

I don't know about that, but I honestly don't know how anyone can prefer a game to look like that. I don't know which is worse- the stretching or the gross filter. Probably the stretching as that actually changes how the game plays on top of making it look like shit.

I am honestly wondering how long it takes for most people to load all these gifs. They look amazing, but half of them don't even load on my connection. This thread is gorgeous still.

I really need to get doing this, I have tons of 1080p 60fps footage from shadowplay, I dont really have photo editing software for doing the GIF files though, any decent free software.

I'm enjoying it, but it would be improved by a LOT if I could somehow tell my browser to load them one by one. Not to mention the .gif limitation (I assume it's the specification's fault) of playing over and over until it's fully loaded.

I can feel you on the filters if you're into it, but you shouldn't be stretching outside the normal aspect ratio unless the emulator corrects for it. 4:3 in 16:9 unless it properly renders outside the borders and doesn't stretch the sprites is just distorting it.

It wasn't a rule before because I hadn't considered it so no bad blood against you or anything, but from here on I am adding in a no improperly stretched GIFs rule.

4:3 games should be shown in 4:3 unless you can make the emulator render outside it's normal aspect ratio.

You should be able to set it to Fixed Aspect(Fit) under video settings and it should keep it in 4:3.

OMFG The gifs all loaded properly. My laptop processor went to work all of a sudden and I could definitely hear it work but dear God, this is beautiful!

If you're on chrome you might appreciate this.

It's an extension called GIF Delayer and doesn't display a GIF until it's fully loaded, so it shouldn't be too stressful on your PC and won't show until it's actually finished showing up.
