Even if ME:Catalyst's combat "raised the bar" for the action game genre, I still wouldn't want to use it.

Hope we see diverse playstyles from it.

Too much shitty sports, hopefully they're not also heavily concentrated on in the EA conference. Who am I kidding though, it'll be 20 boring minutes as always.

I'll be watching those Battlefront streams just like the Battlefield ones from the previous E3s. I assume they will run the same setup, no?

Well I didn't expect them to come out and talk about their unannounced games. But the lack of media and leaks makes me wonder about the state of EA. It seems too quiet given projects that are in development.

Edit: ah show floor I thought this was about their show.

I'm glad to see it doing good. This is a kick ass traditional game that is really fun. It makes more sense as a free 2 play game, it makes more sense as a game where you explore the story, take a break for a while and get back into it when something new is up.
It's good that they are committed to it. This might be the last The Old Republic project we're going to see and experience.

Once you stop seeing it as this MMORPG we all hoped would revolutionize everything, and just accepted it as a very traditional sammy-combat, hotkey based, tab targetting MMO, that really just wanted to add story to the game, it changes.

The game really becomes something special when you can play it with the 12xp. Then you can play it without the side quests which are tirring after the first time. Some of the stories are really, really awesome.

The Imperial Agent storyline is a 100 hour journey that feels like nothing you have seen before. It feels like.. Like James Bond in Space. Sith Warrior is basically the darth vader: the game, experience we never got. And in this game you really can be very different. I dont want to spoil it, but playing a good sith inside the empire is crazy, while being a bad jedi in the republic, particularly on the jedi knight storyline, is almost a sadistic experience.

TL;DR - When looking at what it is, SWTOR really opens up. If you want to have the most fun with it, play it with 3 people, and troll each other during the dice-rolling cut scenes. It's a unique experience that doesn't have anything comparable in the online space.
