Video games that are named after one of their mechanics

Explain please. How is it a mechanic? Not everyone plays every game.
Very well. Basically, combat is handled either in human form or Dragoon form (picture fancy, winged armor accompanied by a transformation sequence). Attacks work completely differently in Dragoon form and are more powerful, and unlike human form, use of magic is possible. That said, using Dragoon form isn't always inherently an advantage (at least one boss battle results in it being possible to be killed instantly while using it), and meter to transform has to be built by attacking in human form first anyway. Using items is also only possible in human form.
How is ultra a gameplay mechanic? Serious question,I've never played the game. I thought it was just a rerelease with extra features.
Ultras are moves that only become available after taking enough damage during a round in SFIV.

Majora's Mask doesn't work. Skyward Sword works depending on what you mean by it. If you mean it's a kid living in the clouds who gets a sword, no. If you mean you hold your sword up towards the sky to charge it, yes.

This thread is a little tricky, because there can be a fine line between the mechanics in a game and what the game is about. Portal works because you create portals as part of the gameplay. Mario Kart is about Mario riding a go-kart, but that isn't exactly a gameplay mechanic - it's the entire game. The closest that would work is Mario Kart Double Dash, because the title refers to a unique gameplay mechanic (two racers on one kart).

Majora's Mask has a mask mechanic...

Edit: Pokemon Snap!

Jumper
BIT.TRIP RUNNER
Silent Scope
Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO
Super Smash Bros. (and all sequels)
Skate
Flight Simulator X
Jet Grind Radio (cheating a little for this one by using the US title)
Fatal Frame (see above, although I think they're called Zero Shots in other regions) [EDIT: DAMN YOU BLOOD RED SKY]

Are you specifically looking for mechanics that are unique to the game they're titled after? If not, that may invalidate a few of those entries.

A simple guide:

Can you divekick in Divekick? Check.

Can you Super Mario Bros. in Super Mario Bros.
Hmmm. That makes no sense.

Eversion.

The key mechanic of the game is finding eversion points and everting reality, changing the environment and tone of the world
until it becomes a horrifying world of pure evil.

Ok thanks.

Heavy Rain
Can you explain please?

Shift
Shift 2
These are clear in a way to anyone who hasn't played those games, but it'd still be nice to have some context.

Resonance of Fate. You build up Resonance points by moving between your teammates on the battlefield with Hero Actions, then said points are put toward team-based Tri Attacks.

Mighty Switch Force!. You switch up the environment with the trigger buttons while platforming to clear the stage as quickly as possible.

Metroid Prime 2, sort of, through the Echo visor you use late in the game. Prime 3 also counts, as your rising Corruption meter is continually used to measure your health during Hypermode, and becomes a central mechanic in the game's final area.

The game is about Majora's Mask, but you don't ever wear Majora's Mask. That's not a part of the gameplay at all. This is about gameplay mechanics.
Hmm, Ocarina of Time has a time mechanic, Majora's Mask has a masks mechanic and Wind Waker has a wind mechanic. All those mechanic were unique and new to their game.

That should count!
