Kind of surprising when Crysis 2 took me about 9 hours.
Although I suppose it's to be expected given how soon after C2 this is.

I'm finding Far Cry 3 too long if nothing else. I'm 30 hours in and I just unlocked the second part of the game.

So a game should automatically not be given a high score because it's short, even if the reviewer finds those 5 hours to be completely fantastic?
So Maximum Edition next xmas on Steam for £15? Sounds good.

The game costs $60 so yes.
A franchise that made its name in SP only being 5 hours for $60 should not ever get a 9/10.

5 hour games shouldn't be priced at $50 - $60.
REmember to me your last fantastic 5 hours game. Even ICO it's longer. I haven't the time to feel funny because the game is ended from awhile.
Weren't LA Noire's faces fmvs textured on 3D models based on the original actor's scan?

5-10 hours is fine for a FPS. Do you people really want to spend 20 hours in a linear game? Unless it's a free roamer or non-traditional level design, I don't want to spend days on the SP. Specially if it's military games.

Limbo was incredible. 30 flights of loving told a better story than most 30 hour epics, and New Super Mario brothers was the best entry to the "new" series.

Nah, I'm pretty sure you could easily beat both those games on normal in half that time, even the first time through. Most of the encounters are very sandboxy so you can just run to the objective, and on normal you're barely ever going to die either.

Vanquish isn't close to as short as people think, because the in-game timer for scoring disregards an unusual amount of things.

Crytek is right. people want to play their game. But not pay it. Especially not paying it 60 on Origins for 5 hours of SP.

5 hours is a lot different than 10 hours. 5 hours is unacceptably short, 10 hours is good, 12 hours is perfect.
