Give Me One Good Reason Why John Cena Shouldn't be in Injustice 2

Seeing how both Mortal Kombat and Injustice have included guest characters from different games and franchises seperate to their main universes, and the fact that Warner Bros has a buisness partnership with the WWE, there is nothing stopping them from including wrestlers in Injustice or MK. WWE wrestlers have already appeared in Scooby Doo, showing WB's willingness to use the brand in interesting ways.

In fact, NetherRealm studios developed a mobile game using the injustice
mobile system called WWE Immortals.

This game takes regular wrestlers and gives them a superhuman flair. The
Rock becomes a rock golem:

Randy Orton becomes a snake man:

And Brock Lesnar is a terminator:

Any of these characters could easily find a home in the Injustice 2 cast, but one sticks out more than all the others. In WWE Immortals, John Cena is depicted as a Superhero, Flying high to throw opponents to the ground before tagging in All-American Jeeps to perform a finisher.

It would be a travesty if Ed Boon didn't make use of the available brands to bring this American soldier to Injustice. The world of Injustice is a sad and dark place where their heroes have turned against the ones they have sworn to protect and instead rule by fear. The resistance can only do so much against such powerful foes and is in desperate need of a hero. Who better than the living embodiment of freedom and truth himself, John Cena.

Mocap and scanning, possible VA work...

These are all things that would take away from his TV time *trollface.jpg*

Thanos acquires the fully powered Infinity Gauntlet in The Avengers: Infinity War, but loses when all the superheroes team up together to stop him.
Would be worth it for the theme song alone.

I assume it's a one part licensing issue (WWE has trademarks on the name John Cena apparently), and another part ethical issue in theory. Sure, John Cena isn't going to grab a microphone and talk about how "_____ took all our jobs" or whatever, but he's a person and he could, and that could hurt sales.

Also, it be a lot of one-note jokes. His powers would be super strength and invisibility....and that's it. After that, would anyone REALLY want to spend a good amount of time playing as him as opposed to Flash, Batman, Gorilla Grodd, etc?

What fighting games have real people in them (of course excluding combat sports)?

The only thing that comes to mind is the PS2 port of Power Instinct Matrimelee.

They'd have to immediately nerf him.

Will be invisible
5 attacks are on automatic KO, blocking/dodging doesn't work
Immediately regains full health and super armor if on the verge of losing after being beaten in round 1.

they could sell millions of a console immortals game. Make it dead simple to play and very flashy.

Or make it super flashy and have it be netherrealm's MARVEL BAYBEE game
