Not going to watch so I can go in as fresh as possible, but does the footage show the final build as having more enemies than the previous demos, as Playtonic had indicated would be the case?

Oh my the music and sounds are exactly like a Banjo game. Sooo good.

This game cant come soon enough. The Banjo 3 we deserve.

This game looks fantastic. I really hope Nintendo and Playtonic have a surprise release for Switch that is as soon as possible.

The game looks great. What platform is being showcased in that video? Also I wonder what downgrades the Switch version will get.

Most of this casino level looks............bland? Nothing about it pops out compared to the past levels they've shown. It's got a lot of wide open spaces with nothing on them.

Not sure if it's the lighting or what, but the level looks so washed out and murky.. not a huge fan of this one.

Art style of the casino clashes so hard with the art style of the rest of the game.
Agreed. I was about to post this in a less flattering way... because while I think the game looks beautiful, this level is ugly as sin. Terrible art.

Definitely not blown away by that level. And the music sounds like something Kirkhope retrieved from a garbage can of discarded Banjo compositions.

Yeah the graphics are disappointing.
I think it's the lighting, the graphics are fine, the first level looked like pure joy, just this level looks really ugly due to the lighting, at least that's what I feel.

Hopefully it's only this indoor level that suffers.

It looks fun, but so barren here. Lots of floor space with few assets, and the colour pallet isn't as colourful as I'd expect from ex-Rare.

The outdoor levels previously shown are much improved though.

Edit: Actually, honestly, I don't think it looks fun. Not this video. I just said that because often I feel like you can't say anything bad on here without a backlash unless you add some kind of moderation. But honestly, I don't think this looks fun at all, it's disappointing. What I've see of the new Psychonauts 2 looks much better, even Knack 2. And yes, I loved the Banjo games - but rather than taking those to the new level for a new generation, this looks like the exact same thing as in the 90s, only more bland, barren and meh. I want to be proven wrong though, I really do. And the outdoor videos have been much better, but this really doesn't look good at all.

It looks great and I'm looking forward to playing on release but my god does it make me realise how much I want a proper fully funded Banjo Threeie.

Im happy for the studio, but this doesnt look like the game i thought it would be, thats not due to lack of talent, it does seem like a budget release and the pressures of business (and being independent) has forced the team to get this done asap. It lacks polish and i dunno, a cohesive feel to it? Im not expecting it to score well, 6-7 range. But perhaps thats what people are expecting.

Not a fan of "kiddie" Kirkhope TBH. I understand his work and respect it but it sounds terribly boring to my ear (that includes the whole Banjo, Tooie, DK64 OST).

Bit of a clash of styles but I thought the gameplay itself looked fun as hell, be a good game to play with my nephew/niece as well.

This video didn't make the game look that fun. Lots of empty space. I really hope the levels are densely packed with things to do.

Looks like a perfect game for Switch. Was going to get it on PC but it doesn't look like it'll make much of a difference. Agreed though, it doesn't look like a great level.

I want to love it but it all looks a bit flat and empty to me. And not just this footage. And I think that is more due to the level design and asset placement than tech. Plenty of old ass platformers that don't have this problem for me.

I cannot WAIT. Banjo Kazooie is one of my all time favourite games. And regarding Yooka, all I've seen of it is brief E3 demo footage. I am going in completely blind. Can't wait.

I don't know... Something about the location looks... Kind of barren? It's not completely empty, but seems way too spacious. Definitely some cool bits,

It seemed the level was designed more around some of its mechanical stuff, which is fine, IE the minecart and helicopter bits look great for examples and cool the level allocates them... But the regular on the ground platforming things looked very spread apart with a lot of empty space between locations.

Wonder if it's just me who see's that, though?

EDIT: Oh, this topic blew up while I was writing my thoughts. Happy I'm not alone in thinking it looks a bit barren to me though. I feel they could've done more with this Casino location, in its music, its art style, and its design. I dunno', it doesn't look terrible or anything, it just looks like it could use a lot more work to me.
