Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 is the sequel of Osu Tatakae Ouendan!, making it Game of the Year 2007.
The goal is the same: dance your way to victory by tapping the numbers, dragging the beach ball, and spinning the spinner as fast as you can.

What makes it different from Ouendan is that there is a new rival squad including new cheerleaders:

You should also mention that there are 7 more hidden songs.... 12 songs in your list doesn't sound too impressive at all.

Also, how does the rival squad figure into the game? Are they playable on certain levels, are they charactes you can also plays as in all the songs, giving you maybe different looking layouts and maybe story?

Wow, some of those new songs sound really good. Does anyone have MP3's of them? I got the MP3's for the first game and have put a lot of play-counts into the entire soundtrack.

I wonder if any of these songs can compare to the original's "Kokoro Odoru". Probably not. Going Under Ground and Bambina seem to come close though. I've put 40 plays into Kokoro since I found it.

You can skip the song intros now like in EBA, and there is a rival group now obviously introduced mainly to make the multi-player mode more interesting, whether they add anything to the single-player besides another team to play with remains to be seen.
